And pardon the sound quality. Literally had no way to really edit it in the version I have access to. I wrote this song about uppers that I may or may not have experience with at the time. I also used the imagery of something that haunted me as a child āThe lady in whiteā to describe it because usage of such substances can be terrifying in practice! This was one of the songs that taught me a lot about writing and producing music. I had gone from an acoustic sound to a more pop sound. But of coarse I had to make fun of the corporate music industry with some of the sound. Itās amazing how much of a hate boner I have always had for the music industry and how it build formulaic music that is scientifically proven to make you want to listen. Modern music would not be what it is without it. āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā I recorded this whole album on an iPhone 4. Yes an IPhone 4. I used the headphones that came with the phone because it was the nicest sounding mic I had ever really had regular access to. Because of my lifestyle I couldnāt go to any record producers in my area, and I figured it would be best to go it alone. I really felt this way in part because I was in love with the person that would become my future wife. I had in part given up my desire for stardom to be a husband one day. Best choice I ever made. I was dumb back then and would have bitten off way more than I could chew had I jumped into the industry. Writing the album on an iPhone gave me 100% musical liberty. That also meant that I was solely responsible for the actual sound that was produced. I have since kept writing music in GarageBand for iOS, and will continue to do so! But my sound will only keep growing with time!
