             Gabriel frowned slightly. Business, it was his comfort zone, but he didn’t want to talk about that with his son despite it being the topic they always hit. After all it was the only eventful thing in any of their lives…

Ah, Chloe. While he didn’t mind her company she could be a little much at times and didn’t seem to have a professional bone in her body. Hopefully the shoot would go well if it meant it would help his father. Oh well, he could suffer the girl to make his father happy. 

“Of course not father. I don’t want to cause her any trouble.” Or his father for that matter and if he messed up his schedule he would.

Children, he hated them, they were annoying and unproductive. He would rather shove them over to his wife, but today was the one day in the month where he had to spend time with his son. And that means no smoking…Gabriel sighed before squatting down to be at eye level with his son.

                                   “How you doin’ champ?”

Adrien arched a brow smelling the smoke from his father and sighed. He hated when his father smoked but there wasn’t anything he could really do about it. After all, if he upset his father it might be the last month they got to spend a whole day together. So instead he just smiled to him and shook his head. 

“I can’t complain father, how are you doing? Has work been good?”

The skeleton didn’t mean to say that last part. It slipped through his mind as if it was nothing. Maybe when Chat brought it up, he could explain in further detail.

“I would be most honored in doing so! As long as we converse here and there, it won’t be that dull!” Jack gives a happy grin, itching to go.

“Well of course! Normally I’m talking with my partner Ladybug the whole time so I’m sure we’ll be alright. Any way. Think you can keep up?” Chat grinned before he took off over the rooftops of Paris. He wasn’t going as fast as normal so he wouldn’t miss potential cries for help.

Nathanaël smiled as Adrien watched him. He got a good line of tickets out of the game after he finished. This was fun, seeing Adrien outside of school for once. He couldnt help but smile.

“Alright. You said you know this game? Lets see how good you are then.”

He started another game on the machine and motioned for Adrien to take his turn.

“Sure, I probably won’t be that great but I’ll do my best.” Adrien took one of the balls and rolled it up the ramp, glad that it landed in one of the better targets. He was glad he got to play it when he was bored. It wasn’t long before there was an impressive line of tickets and he grinned. 

“Looks like I’m not as rusty as I thought. Will it help you win that prize?”

Jack was glad to say at least to meet someone who didn’t seem in fear or distasteful towards him. He was very intrigued with speaking to Chat none the less, and wanted to continue their conversation more.

“Well do you mind if I join you? I hadn’t touched on my good side in about twenty years!”

He wanted to come along? Well, he was only patrolling at the moment so it wouldn’t be too big a deal. And good side? What did that mean?

“Uh, sure if you want? It’s just a patrol so it’s probably going to be boring.” But to Chat that was always a good thing. It meant no one would get hurt.

Nathanaël looked around and found skee ball.

“Skee ball. Its one of my favorite games,” he said smiling.

He walked over to the token machine and put in a 5 dollar bill to get 20 tokens. He gave half of them to Adrien.

“So use those in the game. Come on.”

He went over to the game and put in a token.

Oh, skee ball huh? At least it was a game he was familiar with thanks to the games in his room. But the tokens were new.

“I know how to play this one! So one token is equal to $0.25? That’s kind of cool!” Adrien grinned as he followed after Nath to the machine and watched him play this round. It was already nice to just hang out like a normal teen.

That is what he was use to calling the world different from his own home. It felt natural calling it, so why not. How could he even live here, most skeletons here well, didn’t move. Nor did they speak either.

“Yes, even if you have been around here for centuries.” Jack cackles, “Pleasure to meet you Sir Noir. What brings you up and about?”

At least the skeleton, no Jack, was pleasant. Chat grinned a bit and shrugged some.

“I’m just on patrol right now. Super heroes never rest it seems! Not that I mind.”
