I've been playing around with the Drawquarium demo for a while now. I recommend it with all my heart!

Since I've been really into JOJO lately I created fish inspired by characters from parts 3 and 5.

The first one was of course my favorite, Kakyoin (I learned the game on it and I didn't know yet that you can go beyond the pattern xd)

Of course, he had to get a cherry as decoration. He also got a friend the game named Salmonella, and I love that!

Next were Narancia and Fugo (I'd love to try making little mascots of them).

I almost deleted him 😭

Here I discovered that I could draw them what they would eat (yes, it's an alien from Ikea).

And as it turns out, they can also eat... People XD so I drew myself because why not.

I'll probably do a follow-up as soon as I have time to draw again.

I made my favorite NPC from the game ENA: DREAM BBQ out of clay today :3 In my opinion, it's too thin, but that doesn't bother me too much. The plant parts were great to make using wire!

HAPPY VARAN DAY!

On October 14, 1958 Toho released its fourth daikauju film, Varan the Unbelievable (Daikaiju Varan)!

I had a really elaborate post planned, filled with wonderful GIFs and info.

And then I went to look for my Varan DVD. Couldn't find it, even though I was positive I had one.

Then I went to buy a new copy, and Amazon helpfully informed me that I had purchased the DVD back in 2007. So no need to spend the money again.

I conducted another search, tearing my room and bookshelves apart. No joy. The DVD was nowhere to be found. Which led me to the only logical conclusion:

The dog ate it.

And then it was too late to order a new copy to arrive in time.

So instead of my wonderful (at least in my mind) post on one of Toho's least appreciated kaiju, I'm just gonna inundate you with whatever pics and GIFs I could find online.

I really enjoy sculpting with clay. This time I tried making a Houndeye. Making the wire frame was the coolest part of the whole thing and covering it with foil was the worst.
