Fantasy Is A Metaphor For The Human Condition, a comic about magic, and art, and speculative fiction, and being sick, and how they all intersect. Originally laid out/pencilled November-December 2017, when I was in a very difficult place emotionally as I was relearning how to draw post-brain injury.

'The Madonna of the Roses' and 'The Madonna of Pietà' by William-Adolphe Bouguereau
Hi. Came back for Halloween.
10.05.21
I had an operation on January, since then my life seems pretty much simple.
I’m under psiquiátric therapy and I’m feeling actually better. My body is the body I used to like so much again. It’s been years since I don’t see it the way I see it now. My hair has grown since February ‘20, it’s really cute.
Anyway, how are you guys?
All my life people told me to speak about how I felt inside, but every time I do that it seems like I’m waisting someone’s time.
I feel so heavy.

remember when infinity train book 3 painted both grace and simon as victims who certainly didn't deserve what happened to them as kids (grace before the train and simon at least after getting on the train), and had them bond over the exact same corrupt ideologies, but showed how they chose to deal with their problems in different ways; grace choosing to open up to others and reflect on herself so she could grow and heal, and simon choosing to take zero responsibility for the ways he made the world around him suffer in his stead while actively ignoring attempts to help him in any way, which eventually got the latter KILLED, as an example of how trauma isn't an excuse for harming others and refusing to try and improve yourself ever?????
because i think about that a goddamn lot
