I am very much against the idea of hurting animals. It’s something I’ve always had an issue with, because animals are so pure. They’re mostly gentle creatures who don’t do anything to anyone unless provoked. And even then, it’s such a… sincere and honest anger and way of attack. Animals don’t have the capacity to lie or be manipulative. I think they can be better than humans in that respect. -he chuckles after saying this, knowing it’s silly to say, but he’s sincere. there have been enough people in his life that he’s found to be quite the liars, or who get enjoyment in emotionally toying with others, and he has a strong respect for animals who are unable to do such terrible things. they are far from dumb creatures, but there’s still a simplicity and a truth in their instincts and responses that he admires; it’s part of why he became an Animagus, because while he still has a human mind in his form, he feels a connection to the animal world. he choese a dog both for the fact that it was his Patronus, and because he feels they’re one of the most loyal of all, something else he finds himself deeply respecting- I’ve never worked with animals, really, but I love them. I have a cat who is like my child… -chuckling a second time, feeling silly to admit that, he runs a hand through his hair and offers a boyish smile to the older man, cocking his head to one side- Plus I, well… here. -venturing further into the courtyard, he finds a bench and climbs up onto it, bending his knees so he’s crouched on the seat, staying like this and closing his eyes as he slowly begins to change his shape, growing a bit smaller and spouting fur while his features twist, the transformation taking mere seconds before he’s perched there as a large, silvery Siberian Husky. barking and wagging his tail a bit, mouth open in a pant as though he’s grinning, he jumps down and pads closer to the other profession where he nudges against the man’s hand a few times with his nose, though after a moment he backs up and returns to his natural, human form- So, yes.. -laughing sheepishly, he drags a hand through his sloppy hair and grins once more, adjusting his clothes to look a bit neater-
Anyway, I think things are better now… here, at least. it’s much better here. -he goes on to say, though it’s mostly his own naivety getting the better of him- There’s still some prejudice, still some acts of violence, but overall I think things are improving… -he sighs, hoping this is the case at least; he loves his students and likes to think that most of them are smart and kindhearted in the long run, even under their bad attitudes. the thought of any of them actually being like that frightens him a little, as his fatherly instincts make it feel more as though his own children could be up to no good, but he remains convinced that truly dark and judgmental things such as hate crimes against their own is not something that happens anymore. his naivety truly knows no bounds- Hmm? -not expecting the change in subject, but welcoming it as things were getting far too gloomy in their conversation, he blinks before nodding eagerly in agreement- Oh, yes, it’s so nice here. -turning to look around the courtyard and admire the view after saying this, he smiles wistfully and bites his lip, however he’s taken completely by surprise when the man beside him speaks up again to recount something that took place here, nearly falling over with his sudden laughing fit were it not for the hand holding his shoulder to steady him- Oh my god… -his hand covering his face, he shakes with laughter and struggles to find his voice again, still occasionally feeling a tremor run through him each time a chuckle leaves his parted lips- Quite a story, I imagine… I can remember my first, but it definitely was not here. I was kissed here once, though… that was nice. -he gets a faraway look on his face at the memory, his smile becoming a bit goofy- I didn’t like him all that much, the guy who did it, I didn’t like him in that way, but it’s still nice to be kissed by someone who finds you attractive.
{` he was listening so intently to the other that when Joon stopped talking, his own brows furrowed. he had opened up his mouth to tell him to come out with it (in the nicest possible way) and instead, he shut it once more once he was what the other professor was doing. he grinned and stood up immediately, walking over to the husky that was perched there and placed a hand on his head, stroking him,} Wow, your fur is so soft, what's your secret? {` asks with a sly grin, sitting back down and watching in wonder as the animal materialized back into the man he had previously been talking with.} That's really... something {` he says, not knowing how else to describe what he had witnessed. being an animagus was extremely difficult for anyone to do. he himself had never been able to master it despite the fact that he was so connected to natural animals already.} When I was in my 7th year, I tried so hard to be able to become an animagus {` says so with a sigh, not bothering to hide the slight jealousy that he was feeling. well it wasn't really all that slight, but he did his best to minimize it as much as possible} How long did it take you to be able to transform fully without screwing anything up? I got pretty close but I could never do it perfectly and it was decided that I should hold off on continuing my attempts in case anything went wrong. {` noticing that there was a bit of fur clinging to his robes, Jongkook leans forward and brushes it off of him slowly, his smile still brightening up his expression, really rather impressed even more so with the handsome young man beside him} A man who can morph into a dog is pretty hot. {` chuckles and then falls silent as he listens to the other. so he was gay as well. well he had to admit, he had thought that he might of and, honestly, he was kind of hoping to be right.} So a guy kissed you here? Hmm {` looks around, grinning to himself} It is a pretty nice spot for things of that nature here. Pretty excluded, not many people stumble into here. {` he really couldn't count the amount of times he had gotten up to various r-rated antics right where the two of them were currently sitting. it thought that it was best not to mention that though}
So, I am not the only one to get up to things here {` says with a laugh, trying to keep everything casual when his mind was suddenly, for some reason, thinking of adding another sexual adventure in the courtyard to the list. he had thought that after he graduated, he would never see this place again, but suddenly he was back and in the presence of an extremely handsome man. honestly, the more he looked at joon, the more it hurt because the guy was so attractive.} Maybe there is just something.. about this place.. {` he starts speaking slowly, his eyes on the canopy of the tree that they were sitting under, allowing the dappled light to sprinkle his face.} that just makes everyone horny? {` he laughed, the last few words not at all expected, even from himself. he brought his eyes onto Joon's face, allowing himself a few seconds just to enjoy the view before he turned his face upwards again and sighed happily} Classes starting... are you ready for it? {` asks, peeking at him from the side} You can't forget our little deal you know. I am expecting you to teach me a lot. And I, in turn, will give it to you just as good. {` realizes that his words could be misconstrued to mean something else, but he didn't really mind all that much at all.} By the way, you've seen my body. I think it's only fair that I see yours. And since I have the coolest scar, my word kind of carries a lot of weight, don't you think? {` chuckles, scratching the side of his nose absently} Like.. I want to know.. how did your clothes not get destroyed by your transformation. I've always wondered about things like that. Shouldn't you be naked right now? {` asks as if he was disappointed that the young man was fully-clothed}

In regards to homework, you don’t actually have to do it. Just submit a message with “HI IT’S MY HOMEWORK” and you will get a 9/10 and half the house points. If you do do it, you will get a 10/10 and full house points. I make them easy yo.
I expect not only Ravenclaws, but everyone to at least try to obey the laws of the castle.
Mhm. Let’s see about that. Definitely not Ravenclaw material. Liar.
Me, a liar? Why would you say such a thing?

He is. I-I’m really happy to have him, sir. {`smiling as he says this, he rests his hands on the edge of the desk before his chin settles on top of them, peering at Nid once he’s set down. he puckers out his lips to make a playful kissing face, the spider immediately crawling its way over to him and placing the tip of one long leg against his lips, causing him to laugh softly before he sits up again and scoops the pet into his hands} A Whiskered bat? {`his head tilts and he looks up curiously, even sneaking a peek at the professor’s face as he blinked at him with a childlike curiosity} I-I’ve never heard of students having a bat for a pet, professor. {`appearing impressed by this, he smiles in admiration and places Nid onto his shoulder, the spider crawling further onto him before making its way up his neck and to his head where it begins wading through his hair, making him let out another laugh at the ticklish sensation} Y-Yes sir, I’m uh, pretty sure owls eat bats. I’m glad y-yours didn’t get eaten. {`he turns solemn when the man seems to become sad, his smile fading, though once he’s stayed quiet for a moment he asks delicately} Have you thought about, um… g-getting another pet like him, sir? N-Not to replace him, pets can’t be replaced, just to… to keep you company again like he used to? {`bites his lip, studying the professor’s face closely without looking him in the eye, curious about this man who seems so kindhearted}
{` chuckles as the spider appears to place his legs against the young boys lips, finding it adorable how close a human could be to a spider, though he was in a similar relationship with his bat while he was at school.} I know, I was the only one to have one and I haven't met anyone else with one since either. I have a thing for flying creatures I guess you could say. First my bat, now dragons. I guess I escalated a bit however {` chuckles, folding his arms across his chest and then leaning them against the desk as he watched the spider} So, Hongki {` looks at the boy, still unable to shake the feeling that something about him was familiar. tilts his head to the side, trying to take the others appearance in and place the familiarity with something. he couldn't find it though and gave up, for now. he was sure something later on would jog his memory} What gave you an interest in dragons? {` asks kindly, knowing many students take it just because it sounds cool or because their friends were in it, but not because they had a true passion for the creatures. Hongki seemed like a different sort of kid though, one whose curiosity could grow into something more and meaningful} For me, I think it was just the fact that they were so misunderstood, even more so when I was a student. I think I felt an attachment to them, because I was always a big kid and being in Slytherin, many people made assumptions about who I was. Just as they judged a dragon, they judged me. Taking that class helped me find myself and gave me a passion that I might never have found somewhere else.

{`watching closely, protectively, as the man handles his beloved pet, he bites his lip to suppress a smile upon realizing how easily it seems to be forming on his face, feeling surprisingly at ease in this particular professor’s presence due to his gentle nature and the interest he seems to take in his tarantula. other professors have been kind enough, but the way they flinch away around Nid always rubbed him the wrong way, the only one not to react badly to it having been the potions master. he appreciates this new professor’s attitude as well, even losing the fight against smiling now as he grins, his eyes lighting up the more the man speaks, nodding in enthusiastic agreement as he hastily replies, his stammer becoming a bit worse due to his excited speech} Th-They’re really.. not dangerous at all, sir. Like I said, Nid’s never.. he’s never, ever even bitten me before or anything. {`shaking his head then, he reaches out across the desk to stroke one of Nid’s legs, encouraging him to greet the professor as the spider responds by tapping that leg to the older man’s pointer finger affectionately} Also he’s a.. um, he’s a Mexican redknee I believe, sir. That’s his natural color. Did you know there are blue tarantulas as well? {`his excitement seems to grow upon mentioning this, nodding along to his own words} Like.. like, not blue because of magic, they’re just blue. I want one, kind of, but I’m happy with just Nid. H-He’s my best friend…
Wow, a Mexican Redknee. I've never seen one before. He really is something special, isn't he? {` grins at the tarantula before setting Nid down on his desk to see where he would scuttle off to, expecting him to return to his own, the young Slytherin, in a matter of seconds} - {` smiles when the other calls the tarantula his best friend, knowing that others must have teased him for it but understanding him all the same} When I was your age, I would say that my best friend was my pet too. It was a bat actually. A Whiskered bat, native here to the UK. I kept him in my pocket because he loved sleeping in there. When I went to class, I made sure he was back in my dorm, sleeping there instead. I got too distracted if I brought him to class too {` looks at the tarantula with a warm expression, the interaction between the boy and the spider reminding him of himself and his bat.} Once I was no longer in class, however, we were nearly inseparable. The only time he wasn't with me, besides class time of course, was at night when he went out to hunt. That was it. Now that I think about it, some owls eat bats, don't they? I'm lucky none of the owls swooped in and got him. {` chuckles to himself, happy memories of his childhood pet filling him} I do miss him though. {` sighs, somewhat sadly}

{`noticing the man leaning over to look at his pet, he carefully scoops his hand beneath the spider and lifts it up so he can get a better look, his gaze staying on Nid with an adoring smile, the first genuine one to grace his face since he arrived at school} I love spiders. I was never afraid of them growing up. They’re really fascinating! I’ve had Nid for two years now and he’s never caused any trouble. Unless you count when others kind of got scared seeing him, but even then, he really didn’t actually do anything. He just likes to crawl on people. It’s how he shows affection. {`stroking the tarantula’s abdomen with his fingertip, he coos quietly to it, unaware that he’s gone into his own little world to gush about his pet or that he’s spoken more words in one go right now than he’d done so far} If you think Nid will be in danger or that people might do something unsafe because he’s there, I’ll leave him in my room when we see real dragons, sir. But I appreciate that I can bring him to my other classes. {`peeking up at the professor, seeing the curious look on the man’s face, he hesitantly extends his hand with the spider resting in his palm, blinking a few times before he offers} Would you like to hold him? He doesn’t bite or anything.
{` nods curtly, glad that the boy understood his concerns for when there were other real creatures being studied in the class} Yes, I am not worried about what Nid would do, just worried about him coming to harm when we do have a chance to work with a real dragon towards the end of the semester. It would be irresponsible of me to allow it at that time, but until then, he is more than welcome to join us during lessons {` smiles, holding out his hands, cupped together carefully, to accept Nid, happy to have a chance to see the creature closer} His coloring is really astonishing. What species is he? Or was magic performed to make him look this way? {` asks as he holds his hands closer, bringing the tarantula up to his eye level so that he could get a better view of it} I would say that tarantulas rank pretty high up there on misunderstood creatures. They are hardly dangerous at all and actually make quite loyal pets, which I am sure you can attest to. It's a shame that so many people fear them for no reason other than they look 'scary'. That in and of itself is also a false statement in my opinion. I see nothing scary about this creature {` smiles at it, stroking along the top of it with his pointer finger, now humming to himself}

{`staying still a moment longer as he watches the professor gesturing to the seat, he finally seems to realize what is expected of him, and with a blink he hurries that way and sits himself down, folding his hands on his lap. staring at a random spot on the desk’s wood, he listens to the reply before answering with a sigh, stammering slightly once he begins speaking} I-I would pay attention to my work, and my pet is small, and he’s well behaved, b-but… I don’t think the other students would be able to handle him without getting distracted. {`frowning slightly himself as he says this, he reaches into his robes where his tarantula had been tucked away to nap, taking the large, colorful spider out and setting it on his lap so it clings to his pantsleg, the creature stretching out each of its furry eight legs before it begins to crawl onto his hand that he’d rested on his own thigh} His name is Nid, and he never does anything bad to anyone, but people don’t react well to him…
{` smiles as the tarantula is revealed to him, leaning forward on the desk slightly so as to get a closer look as the colorful creature began to crawl} Wow, well this is the first time I have met a student with a spider for a pet {` doesn't take his eyes off of it} Well, if they can't handle him, I am sure it is their fault. Nid seems to be absolutely wonderful. I understand most students aren't overly fond of arachnids, yes? So why did you choose lovely Nid here to be your pet? {` asks, genuinely curious about what made the young boy go against the norm, very much approving of the choice and wondering where he himself could get one.} Thankfully we won't be working with real dragons, not this semester at least. I will ask, though, if we do have a real dragon down the line, that you leave Nid in your dormitory for that lesson. I would hate for there to be any accidents. You do understand, yes? {` sits back in his chair, eyes still on the tarantula, wanting to reach out and scoop him up and admire him himself}

{`sensing the warm presence from the other, as well as a passion for the subject, once he hears this reply he finds himself smiling softly, just a little more at ease in the man’s presence as he bows his head again and mumbles his next reply hurriedly} Thank you, sir. I hope to do well. I promise to study hard. {`looking up once more, there’s a small hesitation as his expression turns thoughtful before he inquires} Professor, how do you feel about pets in the classroom?
{` stands up, gesturing towards the seat that was sat in front of his desk} Feel free to have a seat! {` says so kindly and resumes his own, folding his hands together and placing them on the surface of his desk in front of him. He frowns, not out of displeasure about what was just asked but because that was simply how his face went when he thought} I would say if your pet is small enough not to be a disturbance and if you are confident that you can keep your pet from distracting yourself and others, pets are fine. Just be sure to keep up with the classwork. Learning is what we are primarily in school for, not playing with our pets, but as an animal lover myself, I understand why you may want to bring yours around. What pet are you thinking of?
{`staring for a moment at the unfamiliar professor, he hesitates at a distance before coming a bit closer and bowing his head, using this as an opportunity to keep his gaze focused downward} U-Uh, hello professor. My name is Lee Hongki... sixth year Slytherin. I'll be taking Dragon Studies this year.
{` looks up from his desk, smiling before doing a bit of a double-take at the boy, realizing that he looked familiar. giving himself a slight shake, he decides he must be imagining things.} Hongki is it? Excellent. Have you studied about dragons before?
{`shaking his head at the question, he dares to take a couple more steps further into the room but still hovers near the doorway, swallowing before he answers again} No sir, not really. I’ve read stories about them… in fiction, I mean. I thought this would be a good way to learn more about real dragons… {`gives a nod as he speaks, studying the professor curiously but not quite making eye contact}
{` smiles at the young boy warmly, happy to see that he was pursuing his curiosity and taking the step towards learning about one of the wizarding worlds most seriously misunderstood creatures.} Well, you have no idea how happy I am to hear that. Dragon's are a mystery, even to those of us studying, and much of the prejudices against them comes from not understanding them. I hope I will be able to help enlighten you.

-it’s only when the other pulls the shirt back into place on his muscular body that he seems to fully realize just how hard he’d been staring at the other, the realization making him feel awkward and embarrassed as that light blush returns to his face and settles on his cheeks while he flashes an apologetic smile to the other, knowing it wasn’t entirely right of him to be staring down the physique of the other man as though his body were an object- I do like it… -he answers sincerely, though he isn’t entirely certain what he was referring to, the scars or the muscular form that had been revealed to him; however, he did enjoy being shown both, so it’s easy to simply leave it at that- With a scar that bad? I’m truly surprised you weren’t injured worse than you were, especially against a dragon. It’s not that dragons are bad or evil creatures, just… they’re so big, one could kill you purely on accident if they’re not handled carefully. -going quiet for now, he listens closely to the story as the other recounts the incident in which he received that wound, understanding now that it really was most likely an accidental situation- Oh, that poor dragon. I’m really glad that you didn’t want him to be put down, especially if you genuinely believe he wasn’t really trying to harm you. It’s like any situation where you try to handle a creature that was originally meant to be wild and free, they have instincts, there are risks and if something happens, it’s not the creature’s fault for reacting, especially if it’s out of fear… -he trails off, realizing he’d gotten just as worked up and passionate about the matter as the older man, causing him to smile sheepishly and cover is mouth- But, you already know all of this, don’t you?
-it’s when the subject matter grows dark again that he lowers his hand and bites his lip, listening to the next tale the other man has to tell, knowing this one will be more painful to relive. with that thought, he shuffles closer and hesitantly reaches out to take the fellow professor’s hand into his own, the gesture a bit bold but mostly executed in order to express concern and offer comfort, his eyes rapidly widening upon processing the gist of the story; that his friend had been killed, not by Death Eaters, not the ones working for the Dark Lord himself, but his own people, fellow students from Hogwarts- Oh, my god… -he breathes, out, letting go of the other’s hand to instead move closer still and place his hands on his shoulders, able to stare up into his eyes easily due to their height difference as he speaks quietly- I’m so very sorry that happened… it’s not right. One should be judged for who they are as a person, not what their house is, and to go so far as to fight and kill a Slytherin just for the mere assumption that they’d join the Death Eaters… the ones behind that should truly be ashamed of themselves. -sighing, he shakes his head, before assuring fervently- Not everyone is like that. House unity does exist to some. I myself have always gotten along with Slytherins. My two best friends from my school years were both in Sytherin House. -realizing how much he’s invading the man’s personal space, especially while he’s emotional, he releases his shoulders and takes a step back, giving a very small but regretful smile- I’m sorry… b-but as I said, I would never make assumptions about you based on what house you came from. And I’d hope you, or anyone else I met, would not make assumptions about me because I happen to be a half-blood.
{` can't help but grin to himself as the other starts expression facts and emotions that he is all to familiar with, being a great animal lover himself. it had started ever since he was a kid; he had a pet dog and a cat. his parents had never set much store in pets but because they did what they could to please their son and raise him in a well-rounded way, they allowed him to have them. he took care of them with all of his heart from the young age of 5 and after they had died when he had become a teenager, he was devastated. that love of animals stayed with him though and while other members of the underworld had raised their children to be ruthless, Jongkook was their opposite} You know, I am glad you feel that way. {` says so honestly, looking at the other male with more respect than even before.} I knew many people growing up who had no qualms about being cruel to animals and it's something that I still look back on now with disgust. {` he shook his head, remembering one time when a group of clan member kids had found a stray cat and tortured it to death. Jongkook had gone home that day, 8 years old, and cried for hours. nothing his parents had said could console him} At any rate, yes, fear is what the animals are usually action in response to, which leads me to believe that we are the problem. {` gives Joon a half-smile, doing up the buttons of his shirt now, feeling as if he had exposed himself enough to the other man. he had to admit, he did like the reaction that his physique had garnered and looking forward to see it again. he smiles kindly at Changsun as he did so, his eyes lingering, for a fraction of a moment, on the other. he couldn't help but notice the sleek jawline of the young man, or the dimples that revealed themselves when he smiles. it was distracting, but a welcome distraction.} Have you ever worked with animals then? {` asks finally as his fingers clasp the last button and he shakes out the sleeves to properly do up the cuffs} You talk with the passion of someone who has been around animals for a long time so it makes me wonder.
{` nods sadly as the other expresses his shock at his story. can't bring himself to do much else as he stares at his feet. the truth of the matter was, the boy who died was more than a friend. although it wasn't talked about back then, Hogwarts still housed a few gay couples back in the day. they were closeted and hidden for the most part, as society hadn't yet grown to accept them at that point in time, but the boy that was killed was special to him in that way} Sometimes I wonder what other reasoning was behind it. I know they cornered us and said it was because we were Slytherins but the others weren't given such a wide-berth or hard time as we were. I have this nagging suspicion that the reasonings were more than just that but.. {` sighs and shrugs, not wanting to voice his opinion just in case the other was one of those fool-hardy folk that still clung to the old ways. He certainly didn't seem that way and with the way that he was flushing when he had exposed his body told him that he had rather enjoyed the view.} All we can do is hope that issues like that are better off these days, right? {` he grinned at the other, sick of the melancholy mood that had settled in the courtyard} I certainly don't judge you for being a Gryffindor any more than I would have back then, and that's saying something since I didn't judge back then either. {` reaches up and grabs the others shoulder, giving it an affectionate squeeze and scooting over so that the could sit next to him} This courtyard holds some happy memories as well {` says so while looking around with a nostalgic smile on his face} I got my first blow job here {` lets out a barking laugh, peering at the man beside him for some kind of reaction} That is certainly quite the story..
` i n t r o d u c t i o n s
Oh, yes. -he nods his head eagerly, grinning a bit as he does so in his boyish and slightly immature way that makes it questionable how he was ever given an authoritative position at the school- It takes a tremendous amount of work. As I already said, it’s a tough job, but someone must do it. I suppose that is just my lot in life. -recalling a quote from some Muggle film he’d watched as a child, he cracks another silly grin and quotes it aloud, aware of his own childish antics- “That’s my lot in life. It’s not a lot, but it’s my life!” -going into a fit of laughter now, he doesn’t even realize the other man ever said anything or that he has begun unbuttoning until his shirt until it’s removed, causing the Gryffindor Head to stop laughing almost immediately when the sight of the other’s toned body is revealed from under the material that had once been hiding it, making a soft strangled noise instead- .. O-Oh.. -he flounders for a moment in all his awkward glory before finally getting his bearings, clearing his throat and going back into joking mode as he examines the other’s scar and whistles softly under his breath- Oh, jeez. Thaaaat’s a bad scar. Let’s see… points for size and length… there’s three so you can triple that… points for shape since it’s claw marks, very badass. And it almost killed you. I have to say, Professor Kim, you may have the coolest scar I have ever seen. I hope you are proud of yourself. -selfishly, his gaze stays on the other’s body as he speaks, drinking in the sight while he has a chance, a blush creeping onto his cheeks before he’s finally able to tear his gaze away to lock their stares again-
You remember…? -he asks then, his humor easily drying up when he realizes, a bit too late, that the older man falls right into the age group where he would have been present in the castle for the Battle of Hogwarts, had he chosen to stay. this causes him to widen his eyes, feeling a large amount of guilt over the fact he’d brought it up so nonchalantly without thinking more about whether someone else would be affected by it, his hand even lifting to cover his mouth, as though he were wishing he could force the words back in- I-I was a first year when it happened, when Hogwarts shut down because… -there was a pause, the name still giving him chills when spoken aloud- … He… was back. I wasn’t there, the younger years were sent home. I can’t even imagine… -his guilt only increases, knowing that the former Slytherin had been right in the thick of things, putting his life in danger, losing loved ones, while he was safe at home. it was out of his control due to his age, but it made him feel awful all the same- Jongkook… -he breathes out the other’s name once their eyes meet again, searching that pained stare, not even aware he’d said his first name rather than addressing him formally- I’m so sorry.
{` grins, clearly seeing the way that the gryffindor man was taking in his physique. he knew that he had a good body but he was so often covered up and rarely ever entertained intimate partners that he had almost forgotten. almost. he made sure to 'accidentally' flex as he maneuvered his shirt back onto himself} I am so glad that you approve {` says so with a grin, really actually kind of giddy deep down. it wasn't a feeling that he was used to; kim jongkook did not do well with the emotions of a teenage girl} I was just laying there. I was surprised that the dragon didn't finish me off. I think it actually realized what it had done and felt bad. I had been working with him for ages so it really came as a huge surprise. I completely let me guard down. I still like to think that it was an accident. My boss was going to put him down, execution style you know, but I wouldn't let him. There was no way that this was an aggressive act done on purpose. I must have spooked him. {` continues talking, as if trying to convince Changsun of what he knew to be true like he had to convince his boss. He was sensitive to matters like this, especially when the result could end up in an animal losing it's life. He personally felt that humans were the problem, not the animal itself. It was usually a mistake on the part of the human}
{` nods sadly, the memories of that time flooding his senses. he could even smell the fires burning, the rankness from the giants that tore down walls, smell the blood} It's not something I am likely to ever forget. {` says so softly, preparing himself for reliving one of his memories} You have to imagine this, okay. I'm a Slytherin, my entire family has been. Once the battle begun, we were labeled as if we were the ones attacking. No one specifically turned a wand on us, but you could see it in their eyes; they didn't trust us. It hurt. But me and a few of my friends stayed anyway, despite the glares we got. Throughout my years at the school, I gave no reason for anyone to suspect that I would be up to something like that, yet once the battle started, it took no time at all for the other houses to steer clear. I didn't let it bother me. About an hour into it, I was cornered in a hallway with two of my classmates. By a group of the other students. They swore that they had to get rid of us before we them, but we were fighting deatheaters just as hard as they were! {` his voice started to raise now, wrought with emotion} We implored for them to see reason but they refused. So we fought them. It was... terrible. I am not sure who was the one that did it.. but by the time the dust had settled, one of my friends lay dead, someone from the other houses... they killed him. Of course no one spoke of it and it's officially recorded that he died at the hands of a deatheater but it's not true.. he.. {` he let out a dry sob, hanging his head} We're supposed to have house unity, and yet our own classmates turned on us because of the colors we wore. Green. The snake. {` he was becoming bitter now and he shut his mouth before he said anything that he would regret}
Professor? {` knocks on the door before slowly coming in } Oshima Yuko, 7th year Gryffindor. I'm looking forward to your class, yeah?
{` looks up from his desk} Ah, excellent, I'm happy to see you taking my course. Please look forward to the first lesson on September the first!
