For april fools day I'm ACTUALLY posting mine on wednesday this week. Gotta keep you all on your toes. This week's word from @ficwip is joke:

“Home sweet home.” Violet gaped. Her jaw actually, physically dropped. Like a damn cartoon character.  This had to be a joke. “Xaden.” Her voice caught in her throat, but she pushed through. “How much did this place cost you?” He raised his brows, glancing over at her from the driver’s seat. Xaden was wearing a pair of sunglasses, expensive ones that fit his face like a supermodel, and a tight black t-shirt. His arms looked obscene. Especially as one rested casually on the open window of the car door, his tattoo catching the sun’s light in a way that was striking.  And the cabin—because that’s what Xaden had called it, a fucking cabin—was more like a mansion. There were two of them. What the hell did they need a place this gigantic for?

And have you considered that when he left at the end of Onyx Storm it was probably the first time he didn’t bring it with him? 😭
