One Last Time || Arlon & [Open]
Sitting in his foyer, Arlon's eyes remained closed as he held a glass of wine loosely. The death of an old friend was always difficult to hear about, and this one was no different. Cordelia's should've hurt him, but this old friend was one he would've never expected. It ran along the same wounds as thinking of his dear wife as he took a slow sip. His head pounded from trying to figure out a reasonable way to respond to all the issues surrounding the mysterious death, but nothing eased his mind. Not even the thought of just getting away like he usually did. No he had too much going on here to just leave. As footsteps entered the room, each one sent a pang through his tense head and he opened his eyes slowly. He hadn't fed, he hadn't eaten. He'd just been drinking bottle after bottle for days now. "Oui?" He asked quietly.
