"Good to know." He bends to help you slip the shoes off, then picks you up so they won't hurt too bad. You giggle immediately as his actions, resting your head on his shoulder as you cling to him.

"Do you have a crush on me?" You hold on a little tighter as he ascends the stairs, more focused on the conversation than whether or not you'll fall.

"I would say it's more than a crush." His words make you grin, and he's glad to be off the stairs, because his heart immediately stutters at the sight.

"Does that mean you love me?" He sits you on the bed, carefully helping you out of the stunning yet restrictive outfit you'd donned for the night. Of course, he makes a mental note to ask you to wear it again.

"I do."

Another smile. God, his heart can barely take this.

"That's sweet. I really love you, did you know that? Sometimes I don't know what to do with it all." Your tone drifts off, so Zayne pauses his actions.

"What do you mean?" He isn't really expecting a coherent answer, so he's taken off guard when you meet his eyes with seriousness.

"I love you so much that when I can't give it all to you, it hurts me to keep it inside." Something in him wells up at that, squeezing your hand carefully.

"You can give it to me. I'd love nothing more than to take it. As long as I can give my love to you too. Okay?"
