OMG everyone I am SO SORRY I disappeared. I lost my account information and couldn’t remember what email I used (because I have a million and five emails, apparently, lol) so I could reset my password.

Anyways, just by happenstance I was checking my email and I got an alert for this blog and I was able to reset my password.

However, this is after I’ve already made a new blog, which I will post the link to in just a bit after I edit it, if anyone wants to follow me over there

Hope watched him for a second before leaning over and offering him her hand to help him up. “You know what we’re up against. You can always train with Dr. Saltzman if you think I’m too hard on you.” She wanted him to be able to protect himself if she wasn’t around. So far he was doing okay. 

Training with Dr. Saltzman was an intriguing idea, but he didn’t want to give Hope yet another reason to think of him as weak. “No no.” He pushed himself back up and dusted off his workout pants before looking at her. “I want to train with you.”

       Mikaelson parties were always a sight to be held, it shouldn’t have surprised Adrienne to know that they went above and beyond for Mardi Gras, but it did. Nothing could prepare her for the walls of purple, green and gold. The opulent displays of wealth as gaudy as they were strangely inviting. Removing the mask from her face, the witch reached for a drink from a passing waiter. The glassy eyed looks of the staff spoke for themselves, compulsion was a cheap trick. Adrienne would need another drink before she could decide how much she hated it or not. The party was in full swing. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, which just boosted his already inflated ego. Extravagant parties was one of the few things he really enjoyed that couldn’t be considered illegal. “Oh darling, I would say you are the view.” He always flirted with the female party guests, but it was all in good fun. “Are you enjoying yourself?”

Seeing Claire’s phone ID ringing her and Ali had answered the phone and hearing Claire’s apparent nervous voice that it was a huge fight with Claire’s mother.  “Yes, I am in town and I am actually at my favourite cafe. We can meet here, if you want?” She replied, while wondering if she should text Caroline to give her a heads up. “Great, I will see you soon. Do you want me to order you anything while you get here?” 

She was so thankful that Ali answered her phone and that she was in town. “No, that’s okay. I’ll be there in ten, see you soon.” It didn’t take her long to drive to the cafe and find the other blonde. Claire took a seat across from Ali, breathing out slowly and trying to calm herself. She stared at her hands, clasped on the table, before looking up. “Did you know?”

She didn’t even choose to come here, but like hell that is going to help the situation. “Yes, well, I missed you – I made a mistake.” She regrets NOTHING but there’s also nothing she wouldn’t say to save her skin. “I’m sorry, brother.”

A smirk and a raised brow. “Is that so?” He took another step toward her. “You abandoned us and have been avoiding your family for how long? And now you’ve come to apologize and, what, expect us to just forgive you?” He was remaining calm, keeping his expression neutral until he smirked and let out a breathy chuckle. “Well, welcome back, sister. It is good to see you.” Though he had his doubts, he would play this little game to see just what her plan was.

     “Thank you, Hayley,” He offers her a smile, before he reaches into his breast pocket to withdraw his phone. Still no reply from his sister.

     “Mm. Yes, I would like to think that everything is fine, but I would certainly feel much better if I knew for certain.” 

“Do you have any leads on where she might be or are we tailing a cold trail?” She tilted her head, trying to think of any places she could think of that Rebekah would run to, but she was coming up empty herself.

              A hollow laugh escapes. Just her. A world full of enemies and yet, the only ones who can truly threaten her is her family – Rebekah very much included. “Yes, well, I’ve had a bad day.” She’s not yet sure if she’d rather stay here with her or go back to mother and her messed up plans.

              “To be fair, we’re ALL good at that. We’ve been running for one thousand years, even if father wasn’t actually chasing us – not all of us.” Just Nik. Learning that secret three centuries ago has brewed quite a lot of resentment, no matter how much she despises Mikael himself. “And Nik will skin me alive if he sees me, you know he will.” She should fleeing right now, not standing here to chit chat. And yet, she can’t bring herself to – it’s different than sneaking out behind Rebekah’s back.

Taking in her sister’s appearance, Rebekah let’s out a slight chuckle and a shake of her head. “I can see that. Could be worse though.” She felt bad for making light of the situation, but she was still hurt that her sister had up and left them and Rebekah was one to wear her emotions on her sleeve.

A slight shrug of her shoulders. “I supposed we all are fairly adept at running.” She looked at her again. “I know about our brother’s temper very well, however I doubt he would skin you.” No, just dagger her and leave her in a box like he did the rest of him. “I won’t tell him you’re in town, I’m not exactly on good terms with him at the moment anyways.”
