“Okay, fine. Follow me.” Chris turned on his heels and started walking toward the cafeteria.
Nix clicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth and sighed but nodded, following Chris towards the cafeteria. He stuck his hands in his pockets.
Chris remained silent as the two of them walked, and he opened the door for Nix once they reached the building. "After you."
Nix sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “You didn’t. Let’s just…go to the cafeteria. Convince me that the food isn’t shit.”
“Okay, fine. Follow me.” Chris turned on his heels and started walking toward the cafeteria.
“Don’t get your hopes up.”
“My hopes aren’t up, trust me. And neither is my dick. Next time I want to kiss someone and have it go further than my kitchen.”
"Well I'm so sorry I disappointed you."
Nix raised an eyebrow, “You’re the one who kissed me the last time. Maybe I should be worried that you’re going to jump me at some point.”
“Don’t get your hopes up.”
He grinned at him, “Were you worried that I wanted something else from you?”
“Honestly, yeah. Can you blame me?” Chris smirked a little and let out another soft chuckle.
Nix pouted at Chris, batting his eyelashes playfully. “Convince me that there’s something decent to eat, handsome.”
“I’ll convince you that the food in the cafeteria is good, but that’s it. Okay?” Chris chuckled, rolling his eyes.
Nix shook his head. “I only eat there if it’s an absolute necessity. Though it’s not like you can get Pizza Hut delivered.” He ran a hand through his hair. “If you manage to sneak off campus there’s a few hole in the walls you can find with good food.”
Chris shrugged. “Well hey, suit yourself. I just don’t think I’d want to sneak off campus every time I got hungry, y’know?”
Nix made a face. “Okay, no.” He shook his head. “I never eat there unless I absolutely have to. Don’t even get me started on the coffee they have.”
Chris shrugged. “It’s not so bad once you get used to it. I really only eat there because it’s convenient.”
“Hey, I’m allowed to have insecurities.” Chris rolled his eyes and smirked a little. “I may be a prince, but I’m not perfect.”
Nix rolled his eyes right back. “My eyes say different.” He grinned before leaning back against a set of lockers. “Where’d you get all that food?”
Chris just shrugged. "Cafeteria. They have pretty much everything you could ever want."
I just ate two burgers, a bag of chips, and a tub of ice cream. Time to put on my fat pants.
“Are you actually trying to tell me you worry about your wight?” He smirked. “Please.”
"Hey, I'm allowed to have insecurities." Chris rolled his eyes and smirked a little. "I may be a prince, but I'm not perfect."
I just ate two burgers, a bag of chips, and a tub of ice cream. Time to put on my fat pants.
“No, I really don’t know.” He said honestly. “I wasn’t really raised with many…guidelines.” Nix said thoughtfully. If that was even the right word. “Sexuality has always been very fluid to me.”
Chris nodded. “Well I guess things on the Isle are different than they are here.” He sighed, placing his hand on a table and leaning on it. “It must be nice to not have that many rules.”
Nix bit his tongue on saying something that sounded a bit nasty. “Hmm. Then uncomplicate it, it’s not that hard.” He smiled softly, tilting his head. “It doesn’t have to be confusing or weird.”
“I know. I’m sure as time goes on it’ll become less weird, it’s just... It’s just the initial shock, y’know?”
Blanche placed a hand on her hip. “Well, they’ve been pretty damn silent about it.”
“It’s because they’re scared. They don’t want to speak out against them, because what little reputation they have could be destroyed.”
“Look at Max in the corner! He’s dancing with grandma.”
“...Why is he covered in mud and wearing a dress?”
