People who read AC: Forsaken realize that "Haytham really did love Ziio and Connor." (Also, Ratohnhaké:ton was not a one-night stand baby, but when I thought he was, it was hilarious.)

But I still sense a lot of doubt as to whether or not he "really" loved them, and it makes me think about that Toni Morrison quote:
