DECENCE - New single "Flying"

Full Of Empty released!

Deutsch | Nach ziemlich turbolenten Therapiesessions wie “Psychologenfutter” und Elternratgebern Marke “Dein Kind?” laden TAXIM auf ihrem siebten Studioalbum nun endgültig zu einer Musik-Tiefentherapie. Diese setzt ziemlich genau dort an, wo das letzte Album “Monitoring” aufhörte, sodass E-Gitarren und Celloköfferchen gleich geöffnet blieben und vorwiegend an der Kulisse gearbeitet wurde. Statt technischer Gerätschaft stand diesmal u.a. der Chor des Sonatina Symphonic Orchestras hinter Alex, Kat und Jigels. Sollte es etwa neoklassisch werden? In der Tat setzt das grammatikalisch absichtlich fragwürdig betitelte Werk “Full Of Empty” auch auf viele neoklassische Elemente, doch wer TAXIM schon länger kennt, weiß, dass hier keineswegs Neuland betreten wurde. Neu jedoch ist, dass die Essener Instrumentalkapelle hier gänzlich auf den sonst üblichen, wilden Stilmix verzichtet hat. Zudem wurde, anders als anno “2011”, kein einziges Gaspedal durchgetreten. “Full Of Empty” stellt somit eindeutig das ‘ruhigste’ Album in TAXIMs Disco- graphie dar, doch die hier gebotene, teils filmreife Musik dürfte kaum jemanden die härteren Gassenhauer vermissen lassen. An Eingängigkeit hat die Musik der Damen und Herren Hobbypsychologen ohnehin nicht verloren und schon das eröffnende Stück “Erinnerungen an Morgen” macht nach 30 Sekunden sehr unmissverständlich klar: TAXIM sind in Hochform zurück und setzen dem Vorgängerwerk musikalisch locker eins drauf.

English | After pretty turbolent therapy sessions like “Psychologenfutter” and ‘parents guides’ in the vein of “Dein Kind?”, TAXIM strike back with their 7th full-length album and eventually invite to a deep therapy. It exactly begins where their last album “Monitoring” ended, so they left all guitar and cello cases wide open and mainly worked on the scenery. Instead of tons of technical equipment, this time the choir of Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra stood behind Alex, Kat and Jigels. Wait... Is it going to be neo-classical? Indeed, their strangely entitled album “Full Of Empty” offers many neo-classical elements. However, those who know TAXIM for a while, certainly know that they haven’t broke new ground. What is new is that, this time, the instrumental musicians from Germany didn’t make 11 tracks and 11 styles. Also, quite unlike “2011”, they actually didn’t floor any accelerator. Therefore, “Full Of Empty” definitely is the calmest album in TAXIM’s discography, but thanks to quite intense and partially hollywood-style tracks, hardly anyone will miss their relentless side. The music of our three hobby psychologists didn’t get less catchy anyway and yet the opening track “Erinnerungen an Morgen” makes clear that TAXIM are back in top shape. Musically, they wanted to top “Monitoring” --- well, they did it.

E:O:NITY - Walk The Line

Deutsch | Endlich wieder markant-dunkle Sounds aus Bonn: Mit “Walk The Line” liefern die Dark Electro-Spezialisten von e:o:nity ein ganz besonderes Remix-Album ab, denn welche Düsterscheibe beginnt schon mit der Öffnung des Terroristenparadieses Guantanamo für TOUristen? Die von TAXIM gesponserte Streckbankparty im Hauptkeller der Anlage besuchten alte Bekannte wie Dolls of Pain, davaNtage, CygnosiC und DEN.C.T.BUG, die dank Alkoholdepression jedoch auch für den einen oder anderen nachdenklichen Moment sorgen konnten. Ja, selbstverständlich sind diese im Bereich der gescheiterten Beziehungen angesiedelt, doch keine gute Party ohne Elefantentränen... Oder? 10 Tracks dauert das beatlastige Wechselbad der Gefühle und würde bei Fans etwas innovativerer Elektrik sicher auch ohne nackte Cover-Haut einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen - mit ist aber schöner.

Und das Allerschönste: "Walk The Line" ist GEMA- und GVL-frei!

English | Finally some remarkable dark sounds from Bonn (Germany) again: The dark electro specialists of e:o:nity recently released a very special remix album. “Walk The Line” starts up with turning terrorists’ paradise Guantanamo into a TOUrists‘ one.

TAXIM’s stretching bank party (which was held in the main cellar of the complex) was attended by old acquaintances like Dolls of Pain, davaNtage, CygnosiC and DEN.C.T.BUG. Thanks to alcohol depression, they even managed to create the one or other thoughtful moment. These moments certainly were about failed relationships, however there’s no good party without elephant tears, right? e:o:nity’s 10-track emotional roller coaster for sure would leave a strong impression even without bare skin on the cover. Anyway, it’s so much nicer with it.

Erinnerungen an Morgen (TAXIM)

Deutsch | Gestern haben Taxim das Video zum Opener von "Full Of Empty" veröffentlicht. Betitelt ist er "Erinnerungen an Morgen"; ein Track, der das neue Album ziemlich gut repräsentiert. Dennoch gibt es auch ein paar härtere Nummern, wie z.B. "Keine Angst", die Fans von "Ware Mensch" oder "2011" bedienen dürften. Der endgültige VÖ-Termin für FoE wird in Kürze bekannt gegeben.

English | Yesterday, Taxim released the video for the openening track of "Full Of Empty". It's called "Erinnerungen an Morgen" (memories of tomorrow); a track that represents their new album pretty well. There are, however, a couple of harder songs on it, like "Keine Angst" (no fear), which should serve fans of "Ware Mensch" or "2011". The final release date for FoE will be announced shortly.

"Full Of Empty" Trailer (TAXIM)

Das 11 Tracks umfassende Werk "Full Of Empty" verzichtet auf einen wilden Stilmix à la "Monitoring" und knüpft an Songs wie "Das Augenproblem" oder "Tringa Solitaria" an. Bretter wie "2011"? Fehlanzeige... Doch die braucht es auch nicht, wie der jüngst veröffentlichte Album-Trailer beweist. Kurz vorgestellt werden hier: "No Beauty In Decay", "Erinnerungen an Morgen", "Full Of Empty", "Visionen von Gestern", "Civilization" und "Computer Depression". Zu letzterem Track wurde bereits ein Video produziert, das u.a. hier zu finden ist.

Radio Schwarze Welle - "Dark Season"

Am 01.11. wird die Liste der Radio Schwarze Welle-Compilations wieder einen Eintrag länger - und XenoBiotic mischt mit. Taxim wird uns auf "Dark Season" mit dem Track "Lass knallen, Ruprecht (Der Sadist vom Nordpol Mix)" vertreten. Der Name lässt es erahnen: Es handelt sich bei "Dark Season" um keine gewöhnliche Compilation. "Schwarze Weihnacht" wünschen hier u.a. noch: In Strict Confidence, Secret Discovery, Eisenfunk, Schöngeist, Beloved Enemy, Bettelprinz, The Pleasures u.v.a. TAXIM Re-Releases

Deutsch | "Metarail", "Psychologenfutter"... Wer kennt diese Taxim-Veröffentlichungen nicht? Richtig, die meisten werden sie nicht kennen. Deshalb haben Taxim beschlossen, diese beiden EP's auf XenoBiotic Records wiederzuveröffentlichen - und zwar nicht nur neu gemastert, sondern auch um jeweils zwei Tracks erweitert. Vor allem Freunde der etwas härteren Gangart dürften bei diesen insgesamt 16 Tracks voll auf ihre Kosten kommen. Des Weiteren fand die presseseitig hochgelobte Taxim-Scheibe "Monitoring" (2012) in XenoBiotic ein neues Zuhause. Unter "Releases" könnt ihr schon jetzt in alle Platten reinhören; erscheinen werden sie voraussichtlich Ende des Jahres. English | Who does not know "Metarail" and "Psychologenfutter" by Taxim?
