Playing Yakuza 6 in celebration of Ishin and Judge Eyes coming to the US and coming to PC, respectively.
I just noticed that you can't finish that first tutorial fight with a throw.
It causes his healthbar to glow like when he gets hit, but it won't finish him.

Not even a hour into learning unity off the heels of UE5, and I have one thing to say.
UE5 was documented by a deranged dingo who just had a bit of the peace weed and totally not the whole haul of it.
I already feel at home in Unity. Took almost a week of bouncing between tutorials for me to even really START UE5 with any confidence.
UE5 has a very strict renderer.
Getting the "anime" cel shaded asthetic is hard, and it always falls just short. The closest I get is a toon shader that looks more like a 2000s comic.
I might use it if I decide to create something with a direction more towards realism or if they open the shading model up.
For now, I'm going to focus on moving both my personal project and Re-Cross to unity. Will probably be a steep learning curve to learn all the new tools, but I'm definitely up to it.
I'll miss nanite and lumen, but they are crutches, I think, for a newbie like me.
has nobody on the internet graduated high school
Tumblr users will see a post mentioning a day if the week and just fucking black out and reblog it
Welcome to black out and reblog it wednesday
Hey this is important!
Hating on m/f ships does not make you âprogressiveâ.
Hating on people who ship boys and girls just because itâs not gay does not make you âbetterâ.
If, letâs say, a boy character who showed interest in both boys and girls, ends up with a girl, itâs not called âhetero bullshitâ.
If, letâs say, a trans woman character ends up with a guy, nobody has the right to say âthis character does not belong in the community because sheâs straightâ.
Bi, pan, ace and trans people exist in the lgbt community.
The lgbt community is not a club for gay people only.
Itâs possible to be gay and still be biphobic, panphobic, acephobic and transphobic.
This is appearently considered controversial by some people so please reblog if you agree!
Xenoblade 3 has an ending.
I didn't dislike it. I suppose it is just the endless now that stories leave us in once they end that makes me feel apprehensive towards it, yet it is wholely unique to how I felt at the end of any other game in the series.
Still cried, still 10/10, it just really feels like it's building up to something that we don't know of yet, with little to go on to hold us till then. A quick ending was not something I expected from a Xeno game
Here's to the coming content in the expansion pass!
sometimes you feel like reblogging only like 5 posts through the whole day. other time you feel like reblogging like 50 posts in one hour. so is the turbulent and unpredictable life of a tumblr girl.
Every time I read Agnus, I cannot stop seeing at Angus at first and having to mentally pry those letters up and put them back in place.
I asked my brother if he had reached the Angus Queen today
needle/pin sharpener.
no really, squeeze it. Does it feel like itâs got sand in it? isâs sharpening sand. Stab the tip of your needle into it back and forth and itâll help put a sharp edge back on a pin or needle thatâs been blunted by use, or has a little bit of rust on it. It canât fix anything worse then a little of either, and wonât work on something REALLY blunted, but its a lifesaver.
also it is a pepper

First digital landscape
i think i went for too much breadth in one view. Moving the mountain caused me to ruin the sense of scale by making it smaller to bring the blue glow into view, but that was better than backing the viewer even further back The squiggles on the mountain at the right are supposed to be an abandoned village, but I doubt my ability to convey that at this scale.
That is the whole area covered >< I struggled to get the ground to have a texture that wasn't bad. It's much more challenging when you can't fluff your brush and use dryish globs of paint to do it. Similarly, I had trouble with the mountains, but I settled on what I usually do for monochrome, just sharp scratches away from the point of light. There isn't much focus, though I suppose that was intentional, even if dumb. I wanted to capture the abandoned area, the village to the left, and the community under the dome (unfortunately, I just scribbled in masses as one big chunk, as i had no idea how to draw such small things without just making to look noisy from far away. half the massive structure at the center is obscured too). I think the water falling into the land fissure came out okay though. and I like how the particles at the fissure came out a lot more than I figured I would, the sky isn't too bad. For a 3 hour first-time thing, id give myself a solid 4/10. flat, and composition needs a lot of work, water reflecting some more of the light would be nice (it is way too blue for that purple sky)
kinda hope people catch the reference for the dome
Hint for the Tirkin Alliance sidequest!
Talk to the colony folk with question marks above their head after you complete each objective, they give you 20+10 of whatever item you need to gather!
