So... Xenoblade on Switch...

Oh hey Xenoblade fandom. Still debating whether to relaunch this zine. We will see how the remaster of Xenoblade affects the fandom.

There is a HIGH POSSIBILITY that once Xenoblade 2 has reached a number of folks, XenoZine will relaunch under a half Xenoblade 1/half Xenoblade 2 (excluding X, sorry) zine.  It will, however, require a submission form rather than being open submission as I attempted to launch previously.  I expect this to occur around February or March.

What does this mean for Xenozine?  Well, I’m still thinking about that.  Stay tuned for a reboot of this project.

Xenozine Status

Hello, everyone!

I owe you guys a quick update concerning Xenozine.  Currently, it is paused.  I WILL continue with Xenozine at a later date, probably expanding to include Xenoblade X.  However, for now, it is temporarily on hold.

I have no plans on abandoning this project.  You amazing people have contributed a lot of time and dedication towards contributing to the zine and I promise to make it worth your while!

Please do not hesitate to send me any questions concerning Xenozine’s future and I will do my best to answer them moving forward. I am very sorry for the dysfunction of managing this project, as it was never my intention to do so and you all deserve much better. 

Thank you so much for your past, present, and/or continued support!

My entry for xenobladezine! I’ve been working on this off and on all month, and even though I’m not completely satisfied with it I put my heart and soul into it!

boodlemangos suggested that I do something with Shulk and Riki’s heart-to-heart on the Distant Fingertip while we were brainstorming ideas, and so I did!

The following collectopaedia items can be found, too:

An Amber Leaf, just kind of chilling to the left of Shulk, a Large Mango with a Rainbow Slug crawling on it, and a jar of Star Cute which Fiora is rather enthusiastically naming! Melia’s just writing the name down in the collectopaedia.

After having not done anything high-res in over two years, this was a massive undertaking, but I managed to pull it off! Here’s to a fresh start with my art.

I am really, REALLY happy of how it turned out, especially for Zanza. He was a real pain to draw but look at that freaking smirk, gosh.

Anddddddd finally my submission for the @xenobladezine. I was originally going to do a comic (I actually posted the first panel, but then I started the second one and had to draw just shulk’s face 7 times and I rage-quit), but decided to do something a lot more simple. So hence, Shulk and Reyn, based on their puns about… well… Reyn.

“Evolution des Willens”

My submission to @xenobladezine.

It has been years since I have painted something in traditional style. I have only drawn Cosplay reference stuff lately~

These are 15x15cm canvas painted with oil paint. I have framed them with wood and acrylic glass. On the acrylic glass I painted the Monados and a few parts of the backgrounds with UV active paint. It was quite a challange to capture them with my camera to show of both the background and glowing parts in good quality.

I looked at the call for artists, and apparently decided that they needed more Mechon. Ever since I (recently) finished the game, I wanted to draw Face Nemesis, and so here is that drawing. Been a long time since I did anything traditional for art, so i’m glad I had this opportunity to make myself draw.
