Friends, Feelings, and Loneliness

So, lately I've been having a lot of issues with making new friends at college, mixed feelings for someone who isn't too close to me but I would love to, and loneliness. Yesterday, I went to a Chinese restaurant and got my fortune, which surprised me:"You will soon be surrounded by good friends and people who love you." Truth is, I almost cried when I read this. However, I couldn't do it, since my family doesn't know the hard time I've been having in the last few years, especially since they caused more than half of my insecurities...

Even though I've been having all these problems, I've been successful in my college freshman year and summer term, so most people don't even have a clue about what I've been going through. But, there are some friends that DO know what I've gone through, and I sincerely thank them for understanding and not laughing, like most people who call themselves "friends" of mine would do.

To those of you who have stood by my side these last weeks, which have been the most difficult, thank you very much... To those of you who laugh about my unfortunes: fuck you...
