I mean yeah that’s what happens when one of the main people working on your show is one of the main people who has been harassing Christine Chandler for over a decade. like i didn’t “predict” this — you just ignored all of the material evidence indicating that this was already the case. the guys behind this show have literally openly bragged about how they previously considered tricking her into being on the show just so they can caricature her. this isn’t even the first Christine Chandler bit on the fucking show. it utterly radiates hitler particles. the people behind Smiling Friends are stalker kiwifarms nazis, period.

I think one of the closest things to the tma experience a tme entity can have is having npd and being open about it. Mainly in the way that suddenly literally anything you do is seen as having some Evil Ulterior Motive

it's like i don't necessarily see public schooling as a place that could on its own prevent child abuse on a systemic level but homeschooling is so much worse. it's the choice between the child regularly seeing 5 or so adults who have varying amounts of supervision over a single child vs. only the 2 who specifically legally own the child and think it's worth cutting the child off from other adults

homeschooling really fucked me up so horribly. This prevented no abuse, I still got raped. And then get added problems where I still can't really exist normally around others in person because I was never given the chance to learn how to talk to people who didn't already know me. For all first 18 years of my life, I genuinely only talked to *two* kids and I never saw them again after meeting them (and my parents wonder why I struggle socially!)

I love Dark Cacao, don't get me wrong. But I'm pretty sure 80% people have him as their favorite character just because he's "hot" you know? People simp for him mostly because of his looks and like to imagine he's an "alpha", big dominant man with daddy issues or smth. And I think that's sad. But you do you. Just what I noticed, since people reduce his abuse towards his son like it's nothing. He's not a good person. He's not evil, but he needs to do more towards his son.

I personally don't really care about people enjoying him because he's attractive (he is), but I do agree it is quite annoying how people just seemingly.. ignore? That he was neglectful a lot of the time?? Like, can you forget your desperate want for your favs to be good perfect people for one second, and play in the angst of a guy being a shitty dad, and also focus on the feelings of the child rather than act like she doesn't exist?

Like, it really does not help that, apparently from what I've heard in the crk server, people usually don't pay dark choco any attention because they think she's ugly. Ok. Thanks it's good to know it would be impossible to talk about any stories with you

I always get really surprised when I talk to other TME queer people about transmisogyny and they end up actually understanding and going "yeah, I've noticed this too actually" rather than reflexively denying its existence. I sometimes forget someone can be completely unaware of certain queer discourse, so their brain isn't utterly poisoned by it.

Of course, it doesn't mean they can't still do a transmisogyny, they're just a lot easier to convince than someone who is aware and already made up their mind about it
