olympia kept her eyes on the fellow princess as they walked towards, at least, olympiaâs destination. âIâve been told the same,â she laughed, it was weird how little they knew of each other but their few exchanges made them sound very similar.Â
she took her eyes from the other and looked around the city, she nodded in agreement. âsame,â she agreed with the other. âits nice, to see something bigger. makes your problems seem litter.â
âseems like we could be amazing friends--though I fault myself because I donât believe iâve even formally introduced myself.â charlotte laughed and let her eyes wander. âiâm charlotte, but everyone calls me lottie. oh--and iâm from the netherlands. since i guess thatâs important too.â
âLottie?â Adaline wasnât sure why she was so surprised, Charlotte had every right to be there, as much as she did, but she was still surprised, maybe sheâd just been so caught up in the Freya drama that sheâd forgotten a world outside of Greece existed. She threw her arms around her childhood friend, setting her chin on the girlâs shoulder, the book that she had been holding now crushing Adalineâs breasts.Â
âI have so much to tell you.â
Charlotte was focused on making sure the binding of her book was in tact. But that voice drove her back into reality. âAdaline?â Lottie threw her arms around the girl, burying her face into the familiar neck, laced with the smell of her childhood. Sheâd always forgotten just how very similar they were.
âI am sure you do, and I can not wait to catch up.â
she hadnât meant someone who felt the same way. âits nice to hear that,â she replied, offering a smile to the other.
âif you ever need someone to soundboard on, iâve been told iâm an excellent listener.â she knew it was awful being in a house full of royals to feel like anything other than a royal. âiâm also always around for going into town and forgetting all of this.â
âThank you so, so much,â Jianyu said as he raised the camera. He needed all the practice he could get if he was going to be his sisterâs wedding photographer, after all.Â
âNo problem.â Charlotte moved her hair back, making certain it was out of her face before she offered a smile. âIs this okay?â
oscar wandered around his temporary home with the hopes of mapping the layout in his mind. remembering was something that he was particularly good at, and it often helped when the time came to give others directions. he was trying his to stay focused on his surroundings, finding any significant mark that might help him in his task â yet heâd not been paying attention to what was in front of him, and so when he collided with charlotte, he was somewhat stunned. âsorry!â he exclaimed, taking a step back to allow space. âitâs probably my fault, i wasnât really looking where i was going.â
âoh!â when sheâd seen oscar she pulled the book against herself almost defensively. as if the book would suck her in and hide her from embarrassment. what a great start to the day. âsorry, i--sorry.â she stumbled over her words, taking a step back when he had. âi didnât hurt you did i?â she questioned. her chin sitting atop the binding of her little hard cover book.
Charlotte walked the halls of the castle with a book in her hands. This was something sheâd perfected at a young age--the ability to walk and read at the same time. Her eyes scanned the page, each word like a memory of a distant time and yet she had never lived it herself. It always felt that way, carried her off and landed her in a world different from her own. She loved being able to feel the wind as if it were rustling the end of her dress--even if she was standing indoors. Her fantasy came to an end when she very nearly flattened herself against a wall--or a person, who knew? She peeked over the edge of her book. âSorry--guess Iâm not used to this place yet.â
âOh--me?â Charlotte pointed to herself, her eyes scanning the area around them before she decided that it was in fact aimed at her. âI suppose that would be alright.â
- ĚĚ (she/her) is that MADELAINE PETSCH coming off the private jet? oh no thatâs CHARLOTTE BO HENDRIXSON the TWENTY-THREE year old PRINCESS of THE NETHERLANDS. people often say they remind them of LONG HAIR PINNED BACK FROM THE FACE, AN EMPTY THRONE ROOM, SILENT CRIES UNDER THE STARS. they are arranged to marry OSCAR BERNADOTTE THEO JAMES, ANSEL ELGORT, SCOTT EASTWOOD, contact mun.
about:
- charlotte is known to be the sophisticated and sweet child, much like you would expect of with as much grace as they have innocence.
- as a kid she was often told how mature she was for her age.
- she was never the outgoing one, preferring to sit idly in a corner turning pages of fairytale books until her fingers were dry from the paper.
- she believes in âsillyâ things like love at first sight and soul mates. she ultimately hopes that she can find something like that in the person sheâs supposed to marry.
- sheâs super romantic and loves to spoil the people that she holds dearest in her life. she also loves receiving lots of physical affection and words of affirmation.
- she has a hard time standing up for herself but would go to any length to protect the ones she loves.
- she has a hard time breaking out of her shell and doesnât really like large social gatherings. at events and parties of this sort she can usually be found far away from the chaos.
wanted connections:
- Iâm open to all the things, but I think she could learn a lot from having a more outgoing friend that drags her out and forces her shell to crack open. so thats the big need atm.
