There is so much racism in the medical field can we PLEASE stop using the medical field as an example of a morally adept field 😩😩😩. Literally, there’s a reason why black people emphasize bringing someone with you and having someone stay with you when you’re in a hospital. People die over negligence that’s a result of clear racism in hospitals all the time.

i encourage everyone to educate themselves because when we’re talking about systematic racism and how it relates to industries, you must understand that you’ll find racist practices within all fields. i’m talking the whole field of law - beyond just policing. i’m talking healthcare. i’m talking retail. i’m talking housing/real estate. i’m talking finance. i’m talking tech. i’m talking the arts. i’m talking professional sports.... this is not news. this is all just part of the black experience
