[ jordan fisher, cisman, he/him + i’m still standing - elton john ] ━━ Hey, isn’t that [ freddie weasley ii ]?  I read an article on them once ; they’re [ twenty five ] years old of [ pureblood ] decent, a [ wizard ] and a [ hufflepuff ] alumnus. I heard they had gone on to be a [ healer ] . I’ve heard they can be quite [ adventurous + generous ], but I don’t know… they came off very [ closed off + reckless] in that interview. It really is hard to know what to believe these days though, isn’t it?

Freddie struggles a lot with his name. It feels like it’s been an expectation ever since he was a kid and he wonders if he was expected to be a replica of his late uncle or if he ever had a choice to be who he wanted to be. 

As a kid, he loved being at the shop and being with his father but pranks were never something that he was good at. He never understood what it was that made people like them so much. He never understood why because sometimes pranks made people cry and Freddie didn’t like that. 

He tried his best though. He tried to be what his father hoped that his son would be. Share the love of pranking that his late uncle had but it wasn’t there. Eventually George stopped trying but Freddie always carries the guilt of not being able to fill such big shoes. 

The truth is that Freddie loves adventure and he loves the outdoors. He loves running. He loves the feeling of freedom and perhaps that’s due to the fact that he’s always felt so trapped by expectations that he’ll never accomplish and has long given up trying.

Sometimes he feels that his father’s sadness is his fault but he could no longer play a role that felt two sizes too big. He figures his father would never understand and it’s difficult to keep a positive relationship sometimes due to there being a gap between that they can’t seem to bridge. 

Freddie was sorted into Hufflepuff and it didn’t surprise his mother at all. He’s always tried his best to be a light in people’s lives, he’s always been very loyal and hard working. Freddie did share the love of quidditch with his family and was an amazing chaser for the hufflepuff team but he was never as talented as his sister was with the bat.   

Upon graduating, he wasn’t exactly sure what he wanted to do and so he took a year off to travel. 

When he returned, he went into the healer training program. It’s the best decision he feels he’s made for himself. He enjoys his job and loves the fact that he can help people. 

Freddie will never forget the day that he came to work to find his sister in the hospital covered in blood. Nothing’s been the same since. Roxanne doesn’t speak to him anymore like most of the family and he hopes she knows that he’d never look down upon her or think less of her. 

He understands where the anger is from muggleborns and muggles alike but he doesn’t agree that this is the way things should be managed. There should be a compromise but he isn’t naïve enough to believe that it could come without conflict.
