I was trying out more of this coloring style and looking for something i’m comfortable with. Still far from it but I already got an idea what I really want it to look

What a year this band have had.

As a fan for several years it’s been incredible to watch them go from strength to strength. 

Only a couple of years or so ago people were claiming the band were never going to survive the internal chaos.

I feel so lucky to have got to see them grow into what they’ve become and I hope to see them go on to even bigger things in 2019.

i know it’s already been a few weeks for some, but i’ve been thinking about RWBY Volume 6 Chapter 5 “The Coming Storm”

specifically why Blake saying “I’ll protect you” evoked a negative response from Yang

until i rewatched Volume 5 Chapter 8 “Alone Together”

Yang and Weiss were talking about loneliness, with Yang saying how Blake didn’t need to be alone and expressing how hurt she was about Blake leaving

that’s when Weiss says, “The entire time Blake was at Beacon, she was afraid to open up to people. She tried to keep her past separated from us. She tried to protect us.”

to Yang, Blake’s way of protecting her…
