Because apparently, everything was on her mind already, worked out and would end PERFECTLY. As long as Sakura AND Li wore the kigurumis for the party.
his face flushes at the description daidōji weaves, especially due to the part where they would kiss ( in public, no less ! ).

mainly because if tōya were to find out that li “made a move” on sakura during a sleepover, well, at least they’d finally have that bloody fight they’d been hoping for all of these years.
Growing up with four sisters and a mother made Li a lot more receptive to “feminine” acts: he’s actually able to brush and do hairstyles rather well, since he used to be dragged in to help his sisters. He was also forced by his sisters ( at first for a prank, but then later on genuinely ) to buy bras and underwear a lot, so he’s also not shy about going into a lingerie store. He also keeps tampons and pads with wings in his apartment bathroom, and he also keeps midol around the house just in case. He’d also be rather handy with dealing with cramps / mood swings caused by periods.

It wasn’t like matching clothes was something new. But Having both Sakura and Li wearing matching kigurumis for a pajama party would be priceless. AND she HAD to have this very well recorded.

or cute or anything rather “girly,” anyway. it’s not as if he doesn’t appreciate the work daidōji does in regards to making clothes -- he does, very much so, especially in regards to making sakura very cute -- he would just rather not be attacked by “cute” clothes.

Good way to decide if he’s the ONLY one who tends to play games too often. SURELY another younger kid would play lots of video games?
‘ i don’t play video games at all. i believe it’s a waste of time that could be used for more meaningful activities. ’
he’s never really ever gotten into video games either, preferring more physical games like basketball or running or, yes, martial arts.
li family headcanons.
the li family is split by its “outside” and “inside.” the outside is just that; the appearance that they have when dealing with people from outside of the clan. this “outside” part has various business ventures and businesses in hong kong, and this was started by li’s father, li jié, and this is the cause of the a lot of the wealth the li family has today. in fact, the li family is one of the most influential families in regards to the business world. the “inside” part is the magical part and are very traditional in nature. this “inside” part is split between the main house and the branch house. the main house has the closest descendants of clow reed, which includes li, his mother, and his four sisters. the branch house has more distant relatives of clow reed. also, traditionally, the main house had more magical power and potential than the branch house, and that is still considered true.
li’s father, li jié, died when li was two years old. with it, the issue on inheritance of the companies he was the ceo of came into place, and so li’s uncle became the ceo of li’s father’s companies. when li has graduated college with a business degree, he will be groomed to become the ceo of the li family companies. li honestly has no recollection of his father, and he’s not exactly sad about his passing. he does wish he could have met his father at least once, especially with some of the stories his sisters had told him about his father.
li’s mother, li yelan, is the leader of the “inside” of the clan; although, she has five advisors that are elders from the branch house. together, all six of them talk about the direction of the inside part of the clan; such as, with magical training and punishment for members of the clan. however, yelan has the most power, and she is the one who makes the final decisions.
main vs. branch house. all members of the main house ( yelan, li, and his sisters ) all have magical powers; although, li has the most potential for magical ability and strength in his family. in the branch house, only about forty percent of the members have magical abilities, but everyone in the li clan have an awareness of magic and do, at least, study the books of the li magical books. there are certain ones, however, that are only available to those in the main house. these books contain some of the more dangerous and forbidden magics. the members of the branch house are still under servitude towards those of the main branch.

with a blink, he realises that he must have been staring at the other individual strangely, and an embarrassed flush covers his ears. ‘ ah, you’re in tomoeda, near tōkyō. the train station from here... ah, it’s hard to get there from here. if you like, i could take you, or just show you the map on my phone ? ’

Which makes the brunet EXCITED. He ENJOYS being smart and having to learn. The fact that perhaps he’s wrong, or experiencing an exception, is enough to gain his excitement.

The human survey – he doesn’t NORMALLY like sounding like this, but it can’t be helped. While the teen might be younger than him, the brunet realizes that he shouldn’t think there’s a very DISTINCT difference between the two of them.
he’s not sure whether or not to really trust the other person with too much information, but he doesn’t sense any magic from the older student, so...

Thankfully here are more places to park bikes out in the country, but also LONGER distances to walk. Paying for bikes and to park them can be EXPENSIVE, too.

well, he can’t exactly state the reason ( that if he needs to drop everything to get into battle, it would be cheaper to walk everywhere rather than raise up money to replace or repair a bike if it got damaged ), but he supposes the older student has given him an out anyway.

it did seem that sakura has stopped roller blading to school in the morning anyway, which does mean that if they would want to walk together, it would be easier to do so.
