hi, i’m alex! i roleplay on this blog ( along with several others, whoops ), i’m 22, and i’m a lesbian. a bit over 2 months ago i got surgery on my broken leg ( it was really really bad, bad enough to need surgery the next day ). i’m still in recovery which means i can’t work! i planned on going back to work as soon as i could but the person who promised me a job said it was no longer up for grabs ( despite saying it was when i initially broke it ).  there are NO jobs for disabled people in this town. here’s a twitter thread of other things i would be able to do ( sensitivity reading, etc ). i’m trying to see what i can get here before i physically have to strain and harm myself by forcing myself to work at a job where i have to stand the whole time and harm my leg more. i’m still in pain and can’t really go from place to place without a walker or cane and i need money to afford stuff like food and pain relieving medication for my leg! as well as other money to live. on top of this, medicaid basically said “fuck alex rights” and is deciding to, even though they said it was covered – charge me $672.54. for two items ( my walker and bedside commode ), extremely necessary to my health. again, i got these because the hospital said they were necessary AND covered, which they weren’t. these were deemed as “extra” by the government. my mom is also pilling bills on top of me because she wants money to pay for her drugs and shit / she refuses to pay for my monthly things like bills and such despite saying she would. i need help. if anyone wants commissions or just to donate, below are some resources:

            her chest is heaving, breath shallowing into the onset of panic. “i-it d-doesn-n’t matt-ter, okay, i-it’s f-fine, if-f everyone e-else w-will be safe –” she shrugs, trembling. annette’s mind flashes through many things, all at once. don’t interfere – unless children are crying. the image of the box, his box, crashed into her grandmother’s camellia bush, is vivid in her mind. the image in front of her is blurred, hot tears streaming over freckles. her glasses have slid down her nose, + she doesn’t bother to push them back. it doesn’t matter.

            the next question she asks is softer, less global. her heart is showing again, the real one. “p-promise me … y-you’ll k-k-keep kit-t-tty s-safe? sh-she n-n-needs s-someone – a-an’ –” her words dissolve, the words lodged in her throat. she looks back at him, mustering a pitiful smile. after all this time, she still deems herself unimportant. + the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. as long as everyone else is safe, + her cat still has company, what does it matter, really?

so, yesterday, i hit an incredible milestone for me! 600 followers, which is officially the largest amount of people that have ever cared enough about my writing to want to read it and create stories with me! and it’s with my favorite character of all time always! i couldn’t be happier with this, and i wanted to do SOMETHING to kind of give back to everybody. 

so, this is kind of a shoutout/bias list/follow forever, whatever you want to call it. just a little list of some people that i’ve had the pleasure to meet through this blog and think that everybody should be following! please, PLEASE don’t feel left out if you’re not on this list, i follow almost as many people that follow me. these are just the people that i feel i write with/talk to regularly. if i follow you at all, that means that i adore you and love every thing we write together!
