The Phantom of the Opera was there inside my mind but he recently got evicted and/or was drowned in hot molten chocolate by the guy who resided in there between 2005 and 2011
🎉 Happy 20th Anniversary to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)! 🍫🎩🍭 (Released in the U.S. on July 15, 2005. The UK and Japan followed on July 29 and September 10.) I didn't have time to draw anything for the anniversary, but I couldn't let this day pass without saying anything.
The 2005 movie was a bit of a hyperfixation for 5 year old me so making memes about it 20 years down the line out of nowhere feels pretty weird lol
i still cant believe this is played by the same guy
during the wonka factory tour id keep going for wonkas hand
The thing about Timmy Chalamet is that he’s truly a great actor and he even has good taste in projects and he’s not even overexposed when you calibrate for how overexposed all that group of 25-30 year old big stars are……however something is still off. any time he gets cast in something it feels like that movie instantly turns into a parody of a movie. I cannot explain this
when he was cast in the willy wonka movie, my first and immediate thought was...
"You could not watch a child die in a factory accident with cold indifferance then call on your army of little fellas to sing a funny song of warning about it."
And I hold true to that.
Gene wilder? Perfect, looked utterly bored everytime a child Ate shit and Died on his watch.
johhny depp? getting a little off but the sense was still good, looked more suprised to see that there was such a glareing fail point in his design, less cold indifferance and more dissociated intrest, which is still a Really good wonkian trait.
timmy boy? he would reach in and try to save agustus, he would slap the gum out of that little girls hand, he would try to throw a rope to charle after they consumed Fizzy Lifting Drink. he does not have to power to let a kid die on his watch.
"The day I have chosen for the visit is the first day in the month of February." What if Studio Ghibli animated Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? I drew this with that idea in mind. The colors and character expressions were quite challenging, and the piece is still a work in progress, including other characters. Please keep in mind that this is purely a product of my imagination.🍫
id get so fucked up in that chocolate factory id take an edible and be way too high on that boat ride id never get off the damn thing. Id try to trick willy wonka back
veruca would be like daddy i want an oompa loompa and id be on the floor gripping willy by the leg
id lie right to willy wonkas face. “did you drink fizzy lifting drinks” of course not. And then id hit him
The minute Willy Wonka did the fake limp into a somersault I'd be slurping and slorping something other than chocolate if you know what I mean.
Thank you anon from the other day for giving me ideas to make this silly drawing❤🙏
this is so hilarious
at the chocolate factory. straight up wonking it. and by 'it' heh. well. willy
So sick of this guy he think everything a fucking game(I'm incredibly jealous of his effortless wimsey and his joyous child-like nature)
hm I've never seen willy wonka in those hear me out cake videos...
