"Like, leftover blankets from when it was properly inhabited or somethin’?" she asked curiously as she continued following him, her eyes darting here and there to take in everything around her. She did, however, almost come to a halt as he held the door open for her, mostly so that she could grin at him. "Chivalry’s not dead after all!" she mock-cheered, entering the door and turning around to add, "Thanks," to that. When she turned back, her jaw promptly dropped at the still-majestic air to the palace. It was beautiful.
It took a moment for him to respond. He inclined his head. "Yes, exactly so. They are still in working order, and no one else was using them, so I don't see why not."
A smile tugged on his lips at her statement and chuckled to himself. "Of course." Dimitri closed the door after her and took a few steps to the left of her, his smile widening. "I take it that you like it."
