Personality:

Xiomara, upon first meetings, is reserved, almost a bit standoffish. Some might describe her as "tough" or "mean looking". Even being annoyed easily in situations she doesnt want to be in. If you ask those closest to her, however, they'll immediately prove otherwise. She's been described as kind, humble, loyal to no bounds. It can a bit difficult for her to open up, but once she does, she will have your back for a lifetime.

How does Xiomara take losing a battle? Both as a Paldean Champion and as a Z-A royale competitor.

So, she does have her moments. Where she'll be annoyed at the fact that she lost. And you can kind of tell she's annoyed because she'll usually roll her eyes at herself, crossing her arms. Maybe even even huffing and puffing a bit in the process.

However, considering how long she's been a trainer and her accomplishments, she's definitely learned better. Usually, she has pretty good sportsmanship. Always making sure to congratulate whoever won with a "good job" and a handshake.

Pt 2. Lida

[OOC]: Only because I have time considering I posted pt 1 as I'm typing this lol. Side note, when I initially did this, I kinda put the characters out of order from when you meet them. I'll have AZ out after Naveen tomorrow.

How/When they meet

After traveling, dealing with a thieving pancham and learning about battle zones, Xiomara reluctantly stayed the night at Hotel Z. It isnt until the next day that she meets Lida. On accident too seeing as the pair had bumped into each other in the lobby.

"Oh, my bad. I didnt see you there." Mara calmly apologized.

It was Urbain, who happened to be in the lobby, who introduced the two. Lida was a bit hesitant seeing as the woman in front of her didnt seem all that friendly. But the two shook hands. With Urbain explaining yesterday's events trying to loosen the mood

Relationship

From the get go, the two of them seemed to get off pretty okay. Xiomara isnt one to want to make friends right off the bat. But there's less tension here than there was with Urbain. So being friendly here ends up being a bit easier. She even thinks its fun that she's a dancer, thinking back on her days as a young artist.

Lida was a bit intimidated at first. Dark clothes, a calm, yet slightly cold expression. You can't really blame her. The more they get to know each other, however, the more trusting she became of her. Even looking to her for protection from time to time in moments where she needs it most.

Pt 1. Urbain

[OOC] Some context: I actually started this series on tik (@.Xy_afterhours if you wanna see more light hearted videos) and decided to bring it here.

I thought of be fun, I also thought It'd be nice to go a bit more in depth with it.

How/when they meet

At Gare de Lumiose of course! Right where this story starts. Xiomara apparently stood outside the station longer than she should've, marveling at the city's appearance. Her presence immediately caught Urbain's attention, her being a tourist and all.

The twenty-some y/o immediately approached her, asking for help filming a promotional video. Something for a hotel? As much as she tried to reject him, it didnt take long for the conversation to be interrupted by an ad of all things.

This gave leeway for a little pancham to snatch up her bag. Who knows where he's bringing it to.

"Hey! What the hell? That's my bag!"

Relationship

Acquaintances, initially. More so on Xiomara's end then Urbain's to be frank. Because of their initial interaction, the Paldean trainer has a hard time connecting with him at first. Almost immediately finding him annoying to some extent. She feels like she got dragged into Team MZ and everything they do, despite being here on vacation.

Urbain on the other hand tries to make the best of it. He can sense a bit of Xiomara's disdain. But the more they interact, the more he genuinely believes she's more useful than she let's on. He's not entirely sure but could she be hiding something? Pushing that aside, he's glad the team has a promising new member.

Even with Xiomara hesitating on saying so, the two do eventually become good friends. Relying on each other when they need it most.

I've been meaning to try and find someone else to commission because seeing art of my character is fun. But until then I wanted to show something I got back in March.

The artist is @.starryknightw on tiktok (and on Instagram too I believe). I had given him creative liberty, hense, her using Baxcalibur but I still think this art is dope as hell.

I'm pretty sure I've posted this outfit before (maybe on another site, I'm not sure) but here's the outfit he chose to use too.

So I showed off my team the other day, however, I kind of forgot to mention that there's more. I'm currently in Lumiose City, dealing with whatever bull is going on there. However I officially live in Paldea.

I initially came to Kalos on vacation. So in turn I had only brought my garchomp, Orion, and my ampharos, Luz. And I left the rest of my team with trusted family and friends. I say this because I wanted to show the ones I couldn't bring with me but still miss dearly.

In order of appearance we have:

The girl asked, head tilting to the side before beaming a grin up at the woman, holding her hand out to shake.

“It’s very nice to meet you, miss! I’m Lilana. Would it be ok if I asked some questions? It’s just… I’m trying to become a better battler.”

She hesitates slightly, but does take her hand for shake.

"It's nice to meet you too, lilana! And of course, what dud you have in mind?"

Its not often Mara gets to pass on advice, but, she doesnt mind helping where she can.

She’d release the Champion’s hand after the shake, adjusting her bag straps slightly before continuing.

“What would you say helped you out early on when it came to going up against a Gym Leader? I’ve been thinking about taking on the Gym Challenge but… I know I’m just not ready to do so yet.”

"Hm, that is an interesting question my friend."

She starts, needing a second to actually think of an answer. It has been a while since she took on the challenge. But there is one thing that personally pushed her.

"To be honest, it's okay to not be ready. Sometimes, extra training is what's needed. Other times, like for me personally, you just need a push."

She pauses for a second. Thinking about how she wants to phrase what she wants to say next.

"It doesn't have to be crazy. But something that makes you stop and think 'how would this affect xyz?' You know?"

“Yeah… Yeah! I think I know what you mean!”

Lilana gave a gentle nod towards the woman as she spoke, her smile persisting.

“I guess I’ve been so pigeonholed into being as ready as possible that it’s kinda… paralysed me to even start it, y’know? Thank you so much for this, I think… that was actually the push I needed myself, actually!”

"Absolutely, no problem!"

A soft smile appears. Most people get slightly put off by Xiomara's dark aesthetic. And to some extent that's kind of the point. But every Lilana she encounters brings her back down to earth. It's nice having someone look up to her. Or even just go to her for assistance.

"I'm glad I was able to help you out. I hope your journey as a trainer treats you well and brings far!"

how would your oc respond to someone asking them "are you okay?" and would they give an honest answer?

Honestly, that depends on the context.

Xiomara doesn't like when people worry about her, even if it's warranted. But that usually only applies if her pain/discomfort is something greater than normal.

If she were to trip on her own foot or something, that's one thing. She'll usually answer honestly if someone asks with something alone the lines of "I'm good." Or "I'm fine."

On the other hand, however, she'll hide anything that might be a cause for concern. She could have a been grieving her dad. She could be in the most excruciating pain ever. She'd still lie and say she's okay.

It's a bit of a mixed bag with her.

I’m begging. He’s so unbelievably whipped for the main character. ‘Subtlety’ trying to impress them, secretly looking forward to seeing them, letting them walk up in his office whenever they want.

If you’ve seen my other posts about him, you’ve seen all the evidence of how colossally infatuated this man is with the main character. The only reason it’s probably not been pointed out more is because he looks cool and has a somewhat convincing act.

The moment he starts actively trying to look cool for you is when it becomes obvious. Mans a dweeb
