Part 3 of the Jigen/Goemon/Lupin relationship example from Lupin the 3rd: Green and Red.

1 and 2.) The helicopter Goemon was in explodes after he does a heroic sacrifice, with Jigen looking on in horror, because how could Goemon survive?

3.) Goemon, being Goemon, miraculously escapes the helicopter with the pilot.

4.) After Jigen asks how Goemon got captured in the first place, Goemon replies that he was going to cut off the helicopter’s blades (effectively killing the pilot.) But..

5.) He couldn’t do it because the pilot..

6.) Looks like Lupin.

7 and 8.) Jigen replies that Goemon is kind but that sometimes it’s best not to look.

Basically, killing men that look like Lupin has been tearing Jigen up inside, making him ax crazy, and Goemon tries to keep from having to kill his best friend/lover over and over by willingly putting himself in danger . D:

That is some really heavy stuff.

Part two of the Jigen/Goemon/Lupin relationship example from Lupin the 3rd: Green vs Red.

1 and 2.) Trapped on a skyscraper without his magnum, Jigen is a sitting duck about to be shot by a pilot in a helicopter. Who...

3.) Thinks of Jigen as just a “sidekick” and therefore dispensable. (Notice anything about the pilot?)

4.) Meanwhile, Goemon gets free and...

5 and 6.) Makes an emotional speech about how the pilot and or Jigen is not a worthless object (With Jigen’s magnum tucked in his sash.)

7 and 8.) Goemon says that no one should destroy someone’s future, while drawing his sword and...

9.) He gets shiny eyes. Right before...

From Lupin the 3rd: Green vs Red

An example of the relationship between Jigen, Goemon and Lupin.

1.) Jigen is about to be shot down from the air by a helicopter and probably fall to his death. His response to this is...

2.) To jump on the helicopter that shot him and go ax crazy!

3.) He attempts to shoot the pilot and bring the copter down when suddenly...

4.) He sees something that he really wasn't expecting and it quiet upset about. Namely...

5.) Goemon as a hostage!

6.) His friend and possible love interest in harm’s way, Jigen misses his shot and crashes into the skyscraper behind them, barely surviving the impact.

Lupin the 3rd, First Contact

A fairly clear yaoi part I saw:

Lupin and Jigen have just barely met and yet when Lupin is on a date with Fujiko, Jigen is still drowning his sorrows at the bar. :o That night, when Fujiko comes back to the mafia’s building (who she is working with to trick Lupin), Jigen’s there waiting for her. Jigen is held at gun point by the mafia for threatening Fujiko and so he leaves, taking his first steps to quitting his job with them. Meanwhile, Lupin is listening in on all of this and he smiles. Jigen is heading straight towards him to be claimed. Wow. <3

Blue jacket, episode 12. Lupin is shot by M16 and Zenigata tracks him down (worried about him the entire way). Zenigata demands that M16 gives Lupin to him because he knows about Nyx. M16 is the same group that kidnapped Rebecca and was going to kill her so Zenigata is in real danger of being killed in cold blood and M16 getting away with it. M16 makes a deal with Zenigata for his silence and the inspector says that he only cares about Lupin and getting him out of danger. Once our heroes are safely driving away they talk about love. Lupin says that Zenigata wouldn’t understand and Zenigata replies, softly: “Without me, who knows where you’d be now.”

Translation: Dead, he’d be dead.

Zenigata saved Lupin out of love! X3
