Nina Dobrev spotted out in Beverly Hills (February 18, 2026)
sometimes that's honestly the best part of going to these events, that you can plan a meal to pick up on the way home! i promise that i'm not as antisocial as that makes me sound, it's just sometimes those events are sort of stressful, and a pick me up from a favorite restaurant just balances everything, you know? so you're definitely not the only one, and i'd go so far to say if we're ever at one of those events together, you've got a partner in crime for getting a meal afterwards, if you'd like one!
it's okay even if you are slightly antisocial. i've been in the situation where i've taken one look around me at one of these things, thought 'ah nope' and wanted to walk right back out the door. so i get you. yes, please! going alone to a food place in all of your finery and they stare at you can be just as overwhelming. so if you are willing to suffer through the staring and whisper - i'm down for us getting a more substantial meal together after some event that we both wanted out of in the first place.
You are not the only one that has done this. I have been to quite a few events that don't really give much when it comes to meals. I have gone to a drive-thru on the way home then. So don't feel bad about doing that. I am pretty sure that you and me are not the only ones who have done that.
from others that i've talked we're not the only ones, which is a good thing. because then i would think we're the weird ones here. which fast food places do you often find yourself going to? if they are different from the ones i do then i'm going to be adding them to the long list i'm beginning to put together to visit next time i need refueling.
you really do get small meal portions at events lately. i don't know what's up with that. like you said, it's delicious but i still feel like they could do something more. we're sitting there for hours. you're not the only one, that's for sure. whenever i go to events in the states, in 'n out is my go to fast food chain. it's just so good. and i've seen the pictures of all the big celebrities stuffing burgers and fries in their mouths while still wearing these designer gowns and suits.
sometimes the waiting is even worse, isn't it? you know it's coming and your stomach is calling for it, then it gets set in front of you and you're like - 'that's it? i waited for this?' ooh In 'n Out! another one of my favorites. their fries are simply to die for. what's your go to after event meal? from there or somewhere else. taking new recommendations so i can switch things up. i have this story that i told my mom recently of how i went to a pizza place still in my dress, full face of make-up, all 9 yards and they thought i was someone royal. it was hilarious and fun all in one.
Isn’t it just bloody ridiculous though? We spend the entire day being steamed, pinned, painted, sprayed, squeezed into gowns, surviving mostly on water and the promise of 'there’ll be food there', only to arrive and be handed something the size of a postage stamp on a plate the size of Wales. So yes, I wholeheartedly support you goint to McDonald’s in full glam and ordering chips. If anything, it’s the most honest part of the evening. You’ve earned those chips. Probably two servings.
exactly! we put in all that work to look good for our food and then we're handed a little scrap of something we can't even name. or pronounce. it's unfair, to say the least. though i will admit that half the time i enjoy every little morsel. it's just the point of having to starve myself until that moment to get it. now i'm being overdramatic with no apologies in sight. how about you? do you do that too or will the small meal sustain you until the next day?

You’re absolutely not alone. Those tiny aesthetic plates are cute, but they’re not actually feeding anyone. I’ve 100% left events starving and ended up in a drive-thru still in full glam. You did your elegant canapé moment, now you get your tacos. No shame in that at all, love.
i've been honest to God photographed chowing down on a huge slice of pizza after going to some event or another. all in my glam and heels.. well, not heels, since i kicked those puppies off as soon as i wasn't around people who would judge me for it. do you have a certain drive-thru place that you go to more than any other? i'm taking new recommendations for the future!
I feel events are good for that, but hey, nothing like a good burger and fries after with a soft drink. That could just be me though, but says I'm definitely with you. Out of those, I'd pick one thing from each, I couldn't not. A small portion I'd feel like I could really eat. I hear no bad choices this with, all good and making sure you eat enough in your day.
ahhh the amazing Austin Butler agreeing with me in any sense makes me a very happy girl. especially when it comes to food. picking one from each would be a little too much for me since i like to get the biggest burger from sonic they have. with all the bells and whistles tossed on that sucker. i mean, i eat small snacks throughout the day, so i'm okay in the end. but splurging on something tasty and that i know isn't good for me? that's my kryptonite.

I was bracing for the pain and then I let it go I gathered all my strength and I found myself whole
it makes for a nice taste of something new i'd imagine and that alone has to be pretty great, right ? i think it's why i don't go many events but i do hope you get a nice meal after each one as that's the real winning moment. those are all good fast food choices. so, did you get something from all or go to one ? i feel that'd be such a hard choice for me. you're not, i always stop to get fast food after events i go to. it's like a tradition for me now.
you're not wrong. being able to taste a different menu every time there is an event is something i enjoy more than anything. it's not the food i question, it's the size of the portions. they could make them a little larger, you know? or maybe that's just my greedy stomach talking here. if i got something from each of them i'd probably still be in a food coma right now! so i only get from one each time. though i go to a lot of events lately so that means i eat a lot of fast food afterwards. do you have a favorite place to get from the most? or do you hop around, tasting all the different things?
xdobrevx: You call it menswear. I call it @miumiu.
lately i've been to a lot of events that have had some really small meal portions. am i complaining? not one single bit. they are always delicious and i'm here for the aesthetic. am i still starving after leaving these events? most definitely. so when i'm cruising home and come across a taco bell, sonic or even mcdonalds i have to stop and get me so many things to fill that empty spot in me the event food couldn't cover. please tell me i'm not the only one who does this. make me feel better about my bad choices.
so, aespa is making their comeback and it's pretty excited to be back doing music, shows and all that — but also makes me a bit sad because i always enjoy free time when i can or messing around with my girls. i feel like this could be a really good year and i'm very excited for it. how about you ? anything exciting for you this year ? ( @limelightblvdstarters )
congratulations on the comeback! even though you're going to miss all the free time at least you'll get to spend even more time with your girls, right? i don't know what it's like to be in a band or a group but it seems from what i've seen that the members get really close and become more like family. so that's a huge plus in my book. i'm going where the wind sends me. living my life to the fullest and just being happy along the way.
things have been so exciting for me lately, i've been picked up for different brand deals, and i've been getting more photoshoots. i'm feeling a lot more like a serious model and a lot less like an influencer, which is awesome at my age. and i'm only 28, but i swear people treat you like that's so old in the industry. but life has been good, and when life is good, i sometimes can't help but wonder when the other shoe is going to drop. is anyone else like that? when things are going too good you just have to assume the bad is coming? i can't be the only one like that. ( @limelightblvdstarters )
i think in the back of most people's minds they have that little voice that says 'this is too good to be true' dot dot dot, where they wonder if they are going to wake up and it's a cosmic joke being played on them. but you know what? you earned every good thing coming your way. so enjoy it and keep on rocking on. which brand deals are you working with? are you looking for even more or happy with the ones that you have for the time being?
