Just a funny picture I got of my cat
The first snow of the season has finally come upon us. Be safe out there on the roads :)
Three master Masons are buried on this plot. They are past masters of Bloomington, IL Lodge 43.
W.C. Hobbs - master and grand master in 1849. Goodman Ferre - Master in 1855 Lyman Ferre - Master in 1858-1859
This is the Gridley family plot. Asahel Gridley was a banker, lawyer, politician, merchant, and first millionaire in McLean County, IL. The town of Gridley, IL is named after him. Gridley was once sued for slander and hired Abraham Lincoln as his defense and won the case; Lincoln argued that Gridley’s words could not be slander because everyone knew that Gridley spoke that way.
Adlai Ewing Stevenson II launched two unsuccessful campaigns for US President on the democratic ticket in 1952 and 1956 but was appointed, by President John F. Kennedy, as ambassador to the United Nations. He passed away in London, England.
Just a horse on the farm :)
This is Jinx. She is our first cat, and the mother of Melody and Polly. She didn’t really like the camera. I could tell because she tried to swat at it. So I had to take these pictures from a distance.
This is Polly, the second of my three female cats. She’s very playful. She got her name often jumps up and sits on my shoulder.
This is one of my three female cats. Her name is Melody. She’s usually very timid but after months of working with her she’s become much more relaxed.

These are only a few of the pictures I took at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington, IL. A few of the people buried in this cemetery have historical significance and I will post their stories later on.

Meet Buddy. Of my four cats, he is the only male. We took him in as a stray while he was very underweight. He’s fattened up since then! :P
