You may have noticed my absence (or, you may not have, i dunno) around the general tumblr area, and while this is partly due to my computer problems, it’s also partly because after the official start of Spring Break (this friday) I will be flying off to New York.

Apparently our schedule there is like hella, and that combined with the fact that my laptop is staying at home rather than going with me basically means I will be mobile blogging late at night for like ten minutes, tops, each day. 

So, basically, hiatus until the second week of spring break.

         There was a bit of uncomfortable silence as Coraline struggled to think of a reply that didn't kill the conversation. She vaguely recognized him from school, but couldn't quite place him.

         ❝Uh— I'm Coraline.❞ Well, it was a try, in any case. Maybe she'd figure out if she'd seen him at school or something.

[ okay so just putting it out there that i will mostly adapt coraline to fit your character, time period wise, school wise, location wise, etc.

so what this means is she may have a vague recognition of your character depending on the situation (like if i rp with another character of coraline's age i may assume they go to the same school and sort of know the other exists and can recognize them on sight, or if your character is well known in their location coraline would know of them etc.) 

just clearing this up because i don't think this is godmodding?? but just in case i'm explaining my assumptions pls tell me if that's not cool with you ]

          Coraline dyed her hair at age ten, almost eleven. It had taken a lot of convincing for her mother to let her, but after awhile (when Coraline mentioned it every second sentence), she finally relented, although Coraline made the compromise that she would first try it with a non permanent dye first, to see if she liked it.

          After a month of Coraline loving and growing used to it, she was allowed to dye it permanently. She has not regretted it since.

          Today was really not a day Coraline wanted to chat with anyone. Major annoyance with the parents, and the lack of anything to do or any friends to complain to left her not a very happy camper.

          So she stomped off, ignoring her mother's yell of "Stay in the area!" and storming out of the property and really, anywhere but at home.

          So when she bumped into someone, she was a little less than happy.
