I just saw somebody reduce Damson’s acting to being a “stereotypical drug dealer” and it really pissed me the fuck off because Snowfall is based on REAL shit that was happening in South Central LA in the 80s. He’s a 34-year-old Black Brit so his experience was probably NOTHING like Franklin Saint’s, but he brought that character to life.

To reduce his role on Snowfall to a “stereotypical drug dealer” when the series is basically a period piece for shit that actually happened wreaks of anti-Blackness to me and I know what some of you are.

You can not be a fan of the show, but there were skilled actors on that show that really brought the series to life.
