Today has been a very productive day..
I paid off my debt towards my previous college and will be able to request my transcript to send to my new college I will be attending! That was a goal of mine for some time but it comes with the sorrow of losing quite a bit of my savings. Which is okay because I continue to build upon that savings. I also spoke to the enrollment office at my new college and have figured out what paperwork I need to send in order to begin the enrollment process! I need my: HS transcript, college transcript, maybe ACT scores but not quite sure until they receive my college transcripts. I’ve also received my HESI A2 study book, took a pretest, and now know what areas I need to study. Better yet, I found on my college’s website which subjects they specifically test for and thank the lord above because it doesn’t include physics. I have never once taken a physics class in my life. I know nothing about it. So I get to avoid that demon for as long as possible haha. I have set a goal for what I want my score outcome to be and now am able to set up a study plan in order to achieve that score which is so relieving.
I have been struggling so much lately with how i have felt with my life and being able to get these little tasks even organized has made me feel so beyond relieved. I feel like i’m getting back on track to where I want to be. I can’t thank my MIL enough for really just talking me through my anxieties of going back to school for my RN, currently an LPN, and her encouragement. I live with my in-laws and basically she just explained that there is no better time to go back to school than now since I live at home and don’t have to worry about paying bills other than my car payment, insurance, and honestly my phone. All of my other expenses aren’t even necessary.
So! My goals for the next two weeks will be:
Call my HS for my HS transcript
Request my transcript from my previous college and fax it from work because honestly, who even owns their own fax machine? We sure don’t..
Create a study plan for my HESI A2 with the needed subjects (LTG is to score above 92% overall on the test)
Enroll in classes!
I’m hoping that my previous credits transfer well and I can apply to the nursing program asap but I know that may not be what happens but here’s hoping!
