Excessive sweating - Increased vulnerability to dehydration

Rare but serious risks:

Serotonin syndrome. Symptoms include sweating, fever and shivering.

Hyponatraemia (low salt levels). This can affect how your body manages heat.

Key dangers when taking psychiatric medication in the heat:

1- Overheating due to reduced cooling ability

2 - Excessive sweating leading to fluid loss
