i wanna be WOOED this decade, fully and unrealistically WOOED
The year is 2020 and I’m a Black girl who lives in luxury. Accounts? Plush. Skin? Clear. Brows? Fleeky. Bills? Paid. Income? Flowing. Career? Flourishing. Passport? Stamped. I’m in love with my life. My finances are the best they’ve ever been. My relationships are effortless and fulfilling. My self esteem is through the roof and I accept nothing less than what I desire and deserve.
12 Steps For Self Care
If it feels wrong, don’t do it
Say exactly what you mean
Don’t be a people pleaser
Trust your instincts
Never speak bad about yourself
Never give up on your dreams
Don’t be afraid to say “no”
Don’t be afraid to say “yes”
Be KIND to yourself
Let go of what you can’t control
Stay away from drama & negativity

“Start over my darling. Be brave enough to find the life you want and courageous enough to chase it. Then start over and love yourself the way you were always meant to.”
— Madalyn Beck (via purplebuddhaquotes)
“You deserve something you don’t have to question. You deserve someone who is sure of you.”
— r.h. Sin (via purplebuddhaquotes)
“If you criticize X in women but do not criticize X in men, then you do not have a problem with X, you have a problem with women. For X please insert words like ‘anger,’ ‘ambition,’ ‘loudness,’ ‘stubbornness,’ ‘coldness,’ ‘ruthlessness.’”
—Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie, Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions
How can I reblog this a million times? The 1% are master manipulators.
The existence of another poor person is not why you’re poor.

Jack Black is busy being Jack Black at literally all times
Imagine where you could be by January 2019. Now do the work.
“You don’t need to be better than any one else you just need to be better than you used to be.”
— Wayne W. Dyer (via purplebuddhaquotes)
The way that female rappers empowered women should be discussed more in feminism. The attitude of a female rapper is structured on a very basic level of confidence that’s not comparable to women in any other field. It’s when women can be cocky and arrogant, flashy, bold, rude, confrontational, blunt, rebellious, sexual and possess a whole bunch of power at the same damn time. It’s so revolutionary for the progress of women.
“Instead of saying ‘I’m damaged, I’m broken, I have trust issues’ say ‘I’m healing, I’m rediscovering myself, I’m starting over.’”
— Horatio Jones (via purplebuddhaquotes)
