It was a long day for intelligence, they were being threatened by some group who wanted pay back because of the death of one of their friends
The team was about to do a raid when shots were fired one of which struck Y/N in the chest, the bullet pierced threw her vest and was near her heart
Hank pulled her out of the line of fire and put pressure on her wound while trying to keep her awake
"Y/N, hey Y/N stay with me" Hank said as he seen her eyes shutting
"Where's that ambo" he yelled after the shooting died down the team all came running toward's their boss and injured friend
"Y/N baby stay with me" Adam said as he kneeled down next to her
"Ambos 29 minutes out" Jay said as he came running up
"Tell them to hurry she's not gonna make it" Adam snapped
(Not me blinking away tears as I'm writing this)
"Adam" Y/N whispered weakly causing Adam to look down at her and pull her colder
"No don't do that your gonna be okay" He said with tears in his eyes
"I love you" she said as her eyes slowly, and her breaths became shallower
"I love you too baby girl" he said as her breathing stopped and eyes closed
At the hospital
"Time of death 18:42"
It was the worst day of Adams life, the girl he loved was gone
The team was morning the loss of their friend
The friend who was their for all of them when they were at their lowest, the friend who was their for them threw their darkest times, the one who would drag them out of bed when they didn't want to get up, and they missed her dearly
Day of her funeral
"Today we are here not to mourn but to celebrate the life of Y/N Ruzek" the priest said as he stood in the front of the church
In front of the team and Y/Ns baby sister who is only 4 and Adam who had Maria (Y/N's lil sis) sitting on his lap with her head resting on his chest
After the funeral everyone went back to Adams place and stayed for a while had dinner and told stories on the great times they had with Y/N
After everyone left Adam went to put a sleepy Maria to bed
"Adam" Maria said sleepily
"Hey what's up" he said sitting on the floor next to her bed
"I miss sissy" she said with sad eyes as Adams eyes watered
"I know, I do too" he whispered as her eyes slowly shut signaling she was asleep

Day 1 Jay Halstead
It was finally December and you couldn't wait to spend the holidays with your boyfriend. It was you and Jays first Christmas together and you were more then excited, jay had been at work all day but said he would help you decorate te Christmas tree when he got home.
As time went by the end of Jays shift approached and he started to make his way home to his girl. Jay loved Y/N and was more than happy to spend the holidays with her and their friends, as Jay arrived home he could smell fresh baked cookies and hear Christmas music playing softly in the kitchen, he knew you always loved the holidays even though you didn't have the best family
As Jay reached the kitchen he leaned against the door way and watched as you softly sang to your self and decorated cookies, chuckling he walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed you head softly
Leaning back into his touch you smiled as his hands ran through your hair
"How was your day" you said softly after turning in his arms and wrapping your arms around his neck
"Long" Jay said as he let out a tired sigh as he replied
Later that night
You and Jay started to decorate your Christmas tree, you had decided on a red, green, and gold theme and you loved how your tree turned out
As you came to a finish Jay helped you put the star on top and put out the nativity scene
(if you don't know what that is its a small little set of glass, plastic or wood sorta dolls that recreat the birth of baby Jesus)
The following day
You and Jay spent the day decorating the out side of your home together, you wanted to put lights up and told Jay you would do it yourself but he said no and did it for you and you watched and told him what to do, you were the happiest you had ever been and were glad to be sharing it with Jay, that night the two of you sat in front of the fire place and watched Christmas movies until you fell asleep

At the hospital Y/N was put into a trauma room and checked over thoroughly as she was close to the blast
"Okay you seem to have no major injury's, I am going to do some blood work, and put you on some oxygen for a few hours to get your levels back to normal, but other than that you seem fine and should be able to go home by tonight" Dr. Halstead said
"Thank you" Y/N replied before Will left
"You should go back to work, ill be okay" Y/N said to hank as she laid her head back onto the pillow and looked up at Hank
"No I should be here with you" He protested shaking his head
"I'll be okay I will call you if I need anything you should be out there helping your team" Y/N said
"Fine but i will be back to check up on you soon" Hank said
"Okay" Y/N said with a small smile, Hank pressed his lips to hers and left, soon after Will came back into the room
"Okay your blood work is back" Will stated "You both look good, try and keep it easy for the next few days, no heavy lifting for at least a week" He said
"Wait both" Y/N said
"Oh, you didn't know. Congratulations, Y/N your pregnant" He said with a smile "I'll have Nat come in for an ultrasound to see how far along you are" he stated before being called out for another trauma
Matt walked into the room still in his turnouts

"So I got some news after you left the hospital earlier" I stated looking at Hank " and it's good news depending on how you take it and if you don't take it good then I don't know what I'm going to do be-" I said rambling only being cut off by Hank
"Hey, hey, hey take a breath and try to calm down alright" Hank said while pulling me into his lap, taking a few deep breaths I was able to calm down
"I'm pregnant" I said looking into his eye's
"A-Are you sure" He asked looking at me with hope, I nodded and he pulled me close to his body
We stayed like that for a while and I could feel my self falling asleep in the warmth of Hanks arms
I felt Hank lift me and carry me to our bedroom he laid me down and got in bed next to me, that night Hank's arms felt tighter around my waist and I could feel his hand resting against my still flat stomach
The next morning Matt had come over for brunch and we told him he was over the moon to become an uncle just as Hank and I are over the moon to become parents

"Hello I'm Detective Dawson can you state your name and age please" he said

"Where were you when you seen/ heard about the kidnapping" he then asked
"I was in a store when a lady ran up asking me if I had seen daughter she said her name was Maya and she was five so I helped and when we couldn't find her I called 911" she said "Is this gonna take long I have finals in an hour" she then asked
"No give me a few I'll be back" Antonio said then walked out to talk to Voight

"Uhh first few no but this one Amora Santos helped the mother look for her kid and made the first 911 call" Antonio said Voight nodded his head and walked into the interview room as Antonio walked into the viewing room

"You helped Mrs. Lewis look for Maya" he asked sitting down he watched as she nodded her head

After this Amora ran to the bus stop missing the bus by at least a minute she knew she was going to miss her finals but she seen a car pull up next to her and the window roll down

"Voight, I see you have met detective Vanderlyn" Commander Parry said
"Yeah" he replied
"Good she will be working with your team on this case" He then added
"Excuse me" Voight then said
"No you don't get a say she is one of the best detectives in this city and she will work with you on this case if that's all I have press to address" Commander Party then walked off as Corina was called over by some patrol men

"Corina a word please" Voight called as he seen her packing her thins up to leave and not talking to any one from the team
As Corina walked into his office Hank shut the door

By the end of the night every one had left and gone home

"We should hang out again soon" he said as she unlocked her car

The team had all planned to gather at Erins place for team game night they did this at least once a month
Y/N hadn't planned on going but Kim kept bugging her and she finally gave in, she didn't have a problem with any one on the team but she felt that they just didn't like her even if she had been hand picked by Voight
Erin told Y/N to dress comfy but casual so she threw on a pair of black leggings, a burgundy sweatshirt, and white converse.
Erin has also told her that she didn't need to bring anything so she just grabbed her car keys and her phone and left

"No but we have nothing better to do so who's in" she replied almost everyone nodded and said yeah then they looked to Y/N and Hank
"Nope I'm good" Hank said then looked at Y/N who just shook her head no and went back to looking at her phone
"Y/N your no fun" Erin said then sat down with everyone else
"Bitch please" Y/N responded causing the team to bust out in laughter even Hank was laughing and smiling which cause Y/N to smile a bit because she finally felt like she was apart of the team after everyone settled down they started playing the game and Y/N sat and watched even if they did make her feel apart of the team for once she didn't want to push it so she stayed off to the side the team had been playing the Quji bored for at least an hour when they heard something break making everyone jump and scream and then break out in laughter when they realized it was Erins cat on the counter who just knocked a glass off the edge of the counter
They went back to playing the game and 10 minutes later the lights flickered then went out and came back on
"Okay I think that's enough for tonight" said Erin as she got up and started putting the game away after a little while of everyone helping clean up they slowly started to leave
Y/N was washing the dishes and once she finished she walked into the living room sipped her shoes on then went over to Erin and Hank
"Hey I'm leaving"She said as she popped her head into the hallway
"Oh I'll walk you out" Hank says

Y/N was sitting on the couch drinking hot tea as she watched hank help their 2 year old daughter put the star on top the tree
It was Christmas Eve and Emmy had wanted her dad to help put the star on the tree but Y/N had helped her with the rest the tree
After Hank set little Emmy down she made her way towards her mom and crawled onto the couch next to her, her small little hands feeling her moms baby bump as the baby kicked and turned. Hanks watched from the kitchen door way at the scene, he snapped a quick photo before making his way to sit next to them
"Hey Emmy if you don't get to bed soon Santa might not come" Hank said as he watched her place her head on her moms belly
Emmy had been obsessed with her moms baby bump ever since she found out she would have a little brother she was adorable as she would try and talk to her brother but not being able to fully pronounce words
"Okay Daddy" she said as she got off the couch with her moms help Emmy hugged and kissed her dad before Y/N took her up the stair and put her to bed
As Y/N came back down the stairs she seen hank had put almost the presents under the tree in the 10 minutes that she had been gone
Y/N was 8 months pregnant and on bed rest, so when she had gone to help Hank with the rest of the presents he refused
"Hubby go sit down I got this" he said cupping her cheek as she nodded
She sat on the couch and watched as Hank set the last of the presents out, When he finished he sat next to her and set his Hank on her baby bump gently caressing it
"I'm so excited to meet him" Y/N said as she sat up a little more
"Me too" Hank agreed
The two had been sitting on the couch of about an hour Y/N had fallen sleep, but hank was watching tv and don't want to wake her, Y/N was woken by a sharp pain in her belly
"What's wrong love?" Hank asked with concern written all over his face
"Mmh, nothing I'm oka-aaah" Y/N had began to say before getting hit with another pain and feeling a fish of liquid between her legs
"I think my water just broke" she said looking up at Hank who immediately jumped up and helped her to their room to get a fresh set of clothes
The hospital bag was already in the car all that was left was Emmy so as they left the house Hank ran over to the neighbors house who he had known and trusted very well and asked if they could watch her as Y/N's water had broke they of course said yes and just like that the two were on their way to the hospital
At the hospital
Y/N had a long 14 hours of labor but at the end their baby boy was there and they got to hold and kiss him
The next door neighbors had came and dropped Emmy off to see her new brother in the afternoon
Emmy wasn't at all upset she didn't get to open presents but excited to see her brother
She sat on her mom hospital bed and looked at the baby in her moms arms Emmy had pressed a small kiss to the top of the baby's head causing both parents to smile
They were in awe they had two beautiful and healthy kids and would be happy to go into Hanks unit within the next 2 or 3 weeks to show off their baby
But for not they would sit in the room and watch the baby as he slept are and fussed
Hank couldn't be happier with the family he had and he would do anything in the world to keep them safe, even if it meant burning it to the ground

Once the ambulance got to Y/N's house hank let her go and called the team then rode with them to the hospital as the team started working the case
Y/N got out of surgery and Will walked up to Hank who had his head in his hand
"Hank" will said causing him to look up
"She was touch and go for a while but she's okay we had to put her in a medically induced coma because the bullet was too close to her spinal cord and it's too risky for her to move" he then stated and Hank just nodded
"Can I see her" he simply said and will nodded showing him to her room
"Try talking to her" will stated before walking away
Hank slowly walked into the room, he just got her and he wasn't ready to lose her so he sat next to her and held her hand
Hank looked up at her she had tubes breathing for her, wires and iv's all over, it made his heart ache
Three weeks later
Hank had stayed with Y/N the whole time he only left when someone else from the team came to stay with her but even then he was back no less than 4 hours later to sit with her
The team found the guy who did it about 3 days after Y/N was shot and she still hadn't waken up yet so now the team were all sitting around her bed in her room
With people from 51 and Ned stopping by every chance they got
Most of the team were asleep it was nearly 3 AM Hanks as awake talking with Al and Antonio when Antonio seen Y/N's eyes flutter which caused him to sit up more and grab her hand Hank seen this and looked to see her starting to wake up
Al ran out the room and came back with will and April
Y/N started coughing because of the tube in her through
"Hey hun breath for me we're gonna get that out of you" April said calmly as will ushered everyone but hank out of the room
Y/N coughed as April pulled the tube out and then came the questions
"Y/N can you hear me" will asked shining a light into her eyes and as the team slowly started coming back into the room
"Ja, kann ich etwas Wasser bekommen?" (Yes, can I get some water) She said horsely
"Y/N" will asked
"Welcher" (what) she said
"Y/N" Kim said
"Kannst du Englisch sprechen?" She asked y/n looked confused
"Du sprichst Deutsch" (your speaking German) Kim said after a minute
"Translation please" Adam said after everyone just stood and watched
"She's speaking German, I remember she once said her and all her brothers went to German preschool" Kim said and Y/N nodded
"Ich wusste nicht, dass ich Deutsch sprechen kann" said Y/N "Kim Wasser" Y/N added
"Oh sorry" she said moving to grab Y/n water
"Since when did she learn to speak German" Adam asked
"She didn't she knows French and polish I know German" Kim said handing the cup to Y/N
"Danke" (thanks) Y/N said
"Alright well this is normal this can happen after general anesthesia it does go away after a few hours maybe days, Y/N try to get some rest, everyone else out" Will said as he moved out the room
Everyone said goodbye and Hank stayed behind
"You scared me" Hank said and he saw as her face softened y/n had went to talk but then remembered she was speaking German and motioned for something
"What" Hank asked
"Der Kugelschreiber" (pen) she said causing hank to start laughing cause it was basically gibberish
"Go to sleep I'm not going any where" he said as she glared at him then smiled
He kissed the top of her head and pulled his chair closer to her
He held her hand while she slept
A few days later
Y/N had been sleeping all day she was exhausted and the team were all there being them selves as usual
Adam and Jay were arguing about some this and it woke Y/N up
"Shut the hell up" Y/N said
"Sorry" Adam and Jay said looking back at her twice before everyone pipped up
"Y/N" Hank said
"What" she said
"I'll get will" Jay said
After a minute jay walked in with Will
"Y/N do you know where you are" Will asked
"Yes now would you get that dumbass light outta my face" she said swatting his hand away
"Okay she's back to normal" Kim said causing everyone to smile
"Alright I think we can discharge you tonight if you would like" Will said
"God yes they are starting to piss me off" Y/N said sitting up causing everyone to laugh
"Okay well I'll let you get dressed and start getting everything set for you to go" Will said smiling then walked out with everyone else
Y/N dressed in black leggings a grey tank top and pulled her favorite sweat shirt on over her tank top once she was finished she sat on the bed and pulled on her socks and avoided her shoes for now
Once she was done she heard a knock on the door
"Come in" she called and in walked Will and Hank
"Looks like everything is set and you can go home" Will stated as he pushed a wheel chair into the room
"Is that nessacceary" y/n complained
"Yep" he said as she huffed and as hank helped her into the chair
Hank and y/n walked/wheeled out of the hospital together
"Hey you can stay with me Iv you want" he said as they got to his car and y/n simply just nodded as she got i it the car
As they drove back to Hank place it started to snow and hank watched as y/n smiled
He brought his hand over the (thing in the middle of the driver and passenger seat idk wtf it's called) and grabbed her hand they held hand for the whole car ride and when they got back to hank place he helped her inside and brought her bag in
"We can go sometime this week to grab some of your clothes" hank said as he sat next to her on the couch he seen she was hesitant before nodding
"Hey" he said gently tilting her head to look at him
"I promise I won't let anything else happen to you" he said before leaning down and kissing her slowly ( I said 🥺... I'm sorry TikTok jokes)
Hank felt as she started kissing back then as she shifted to be sat straddling his lap the kiss got heated, fast
Hank let his hands roam her body before resting on her waist just above her ass they pulled away longing for air
Hank pulled her closer to him and she laid her head on his shoulder and moved so that she was sitting on his lap
They stayed like this for the rest of the night and she loved it
A month later
Y/N was back at work and happier than ever she had an amazing group of friends and amazing boyfriend and a wonderfully eventful job but over all she was finally happy

Hank had looked down at Y/N and seen she had fallen asleep so he grabbed a blanket from next to the couch and draped it over her
Hank leaned his head back so it was resting on the back of the couch and watched as she slept
Hank watched her for a minute before going to sleep himself
THE NEXT MORNING
Hank woke up before Y/N he looked down and smiled he also seen she was starting to wake up
"Morning" he said once she opened her eyes

"Hey roads are cleared" Adam said as he popped his head into the room and they nodded and made their way out to the rest of the team

"Hey, you need a ride home" Hank asked as he came up to her desk

Hank walked Y/N to her door and waited until she was able to open it

It was nearly 6:30 and Y/N had just gotten home from running errands
When she got home she went to shower it was 7 by the time she got out so she started getting ready she put big beach waves into her hair and put on light make up
She then went over to her closet and started going threw it looking for something to wear she peeled out she window and seen it was lightly snowing so she grabbed a white lace bodysuit that made her blood pop and pulled on a pair of black leggings black socks and a pair of black high heel boots, by the time she was done getting ready it was 8:00 so she went out into the living room to grab her phone charger purse and phone and just as she got everything in her bag there was a knock at her door
"Hey, wow you look amazing" Hank said as she opened the door he then handed her the red roses he got her
"Thank you um let me put these in some water" she said as she opened the door wider to let him in
After she put the flowers in water hank lead her out to his car and opened the door for her which she gave him a smile for
Hank had planned this he was going to take her to dinner and then if it wasn't too cold a walk in the park
AFTER DINNER
Y/n and hank were walking threw the park and Hank noticed the snow starting to pick up and that Y/N was shivering
"Hey let's get out of here before the snow picks up too bad" he said as he put his jacket around her shoulders
"Okay" she said as she intertwined there fingers and laid her head on his shoulder as they walked back to the car
"My place is closer we can stay there and wait out the storm" Hank said as they started driving and Y/N nodded
By the time they got to Hanks place it was nearly 11 o'clock at night so Hank guided her inside once they were inside hank shut the door
"Can I get you anything" Hank asked as she used him to support herself as she slipped her shoes off
"No I'm okay" she said once she finished getting her shoes off hank nodded and lead her over to the living room
"I'll be back" he said and she nodded then went over to the window seat sat down and watched as the snow started to fall harder
Hank had come back into the living room with a blanket when he found Y/N sat on the window seat looking out the the snow
He walked over to her and draped it over her shoulders then sat behind her in which she leaned back so her back was to his chest and they stayed like that until she fell asleep around 12:30 so hank gently moved her then picked her up bridal style and carried her up to his bed where he laid her down
"Stay, please" she said sleepily
"I'm not going anywhere babygirl" Hank said as he layer down next to her to which she moved her head to rest on his chest
Hank rested one of his hands on her lower back and rubbed circles as he used his other hand to run his fingers threw her hair
He felt her body relax as she fell asleep he kissed the top of her head and held her for a while before going to sleep himself
In the morning Hank woke up and Y/N was still asleep laying next to him so he kissed the top of her head before slipping out of bed and making his way to the kitchen to start cooking breakfast
Hank was almost finished cooking when he heard Y/N walk into the kitchen
"Good morning" he said as she sat down on one of the bar stools
"Morning" she said as she pulled her hair up into a high ponytail
"Here" Hank said sliding a plate of food in front of her
"Thanks" she replied and started eating once they both finished eating Hank washed the dishes as Y/N went to grab her phone
Once she came back downstairs she sat on the couch with Hank as he read over some case files and she watched tv
Hank had been reading files for over an hour when he looked up at what Y/N was watching then down to see her fast asleep so he grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and covered her with it
Y/N woke up about an hour later and just stayed in Hanks arms talking laughing and smiling while he read case files when when hank said
"The snow has stopped in case you wanna go back to your place" Hank said as he look at her from the case file he was reading and she nodded as she sat up

Hank had dropped Y/N off at her house and said goodbye
Y/M showered and changed into comfy clothes before settling on her couch smiling while thinking about the tone she spent with Hank when she heard her door be kicked in she jumped up and was met with a man with a gun pointed at her
Her gun was in her room so she was unarmed and scared
"I'm gonna make Hank feel my pain" the man said before shooting her 3 times
Once in the chest and twice in the abdomen before running out
Y/N was able to reach her phone and called the first number that popped up
"Hey babygirl" Hank said as he answered the phone
"Help" Y/N said weakly
"What wrong" he asked worriedly
"Please" She whispered
"I'm on my way just hold on for me princess" he said and sped up when he didn't get an answer
He got to her place to see her laying on the floor surrounded in a pool of blood he ran to her and picked her up bringing her into his arms and that's when she stopped breathing and he started to do C.P.R while calling 911 but she just wouldn't come back he couldn't get a pulse but he wasn't gonna give up yet not when he just got her
Then she finally started breathing slow shallow breaths but she was breathing he held her close to his body as he waited for the ambulance

Snowed in~ Pt 1 (H.V)
It was a could winter day in Chicago and just the much of the Intelligence Unit they had been snowed into a freezing cold district
The team all had their jackets on and were talking and laughing
Y/N was off to the side looking at her laptop when Hank came up to her
"Here" he said handing her a cup of hot coffee
"Thank you" she said with a kind smile he just nodded and sat down across from her as she took a sip of her coffee and went back to looking at her laptop
"You don't talk much do you?" Hank asked
"Hmm?" She said looking up from her laptop Hank just gave her a look "Uh no" she said after a second
"Can I ask why" he said and she just simply shrugged her shoulders and with that he dropped the topic and she went back on her laptop
HOURS LATER
The snow hadn't stopped falling and roads were still all closed and the district was freezing so everyone did what they could to stay warm
Antonio and Adam had gone into the gym and started boxing
Erin and Jay were sitting to gether on the floor next to Jays desk
Kim and Hayley were wrapped in blankets they kept under their desks
Kevin was just doing paper work
And Hank was just sitting at his desk on his phone when he glanced up at were Y/N had been sitting as she watched something on her laptop
Hank got up from his desk and went and leaned on the entrance to his office
"How's everyone doin" He asked and everyone said okay and good and fine and when he realized Y/N hadn't said anything he spoke up

"Hmm" she hummed as she took her head phones out
"A word please" he said and she stood up and followed him into his office once they were both in he shut the door

"Huh" he mumbled then went behind his desk and pulled a sweat shirt out and went back over to her and handed it to her
"Here your shaking" he said as he handed her a grey champs sweat shirt she gave him a kind smile and slipped her thin cardigin off and pulled the sweatshirt on over the thin white t-shirt she had been wearing
"Thank you" she said quietly which he just nodded at then his phone rang so she went back to her desk while hank answered his phone
Around midnight
Almost everyone on the team had changed into comfy clothes and fallen asleep the only people awake were Hank and Y/N
"Hey" Hank said as he came over to Y/N who was sitting on the couch in the break room since it was empty
"Whatcha doin" he asked
"Nothing watching movies" she said as she yawned and he nodded
"Can I" he asked referring to staying to watch with her and she nodded so they settled in and watched at least 3 movies before Y/N laid her head down on Hank shoulder and fell asleep as he ran his fingers threw her hair
And on this day she realized she was falling in love with her boss

It was a long day for intelligence, they were being threatened by some group who wanted pay back because of the death of one of their friends
The team was about to do a raid when shots were fired one of which struck Y/N in the chest, the bullet pierced threw her vest and was near her heart
Hank pulled her out of the line of fire and put pressure on her wound while trying to keep her awake
"Y/N, hey Y/N stay with me" Hank said as he seen he eyes shutting
"Where's that ambo" he yelled after the shooting died down the team all came running two Ed's their boss and injured friend
"Y/N baby stay with me" Adam said as he kneeled down next to her
"Ambos 29 minutes out" Jay said as he came running up
"Tell them to hurry she's not gonna make it" Adam snapped
(Not me blinking away tears as I'm writing this)
"Adam" Y/N whispered weakly causing Adam to look down at her and pull her colder
"No don't do that your gonna be okay" He said with tears in his eyes
"I love you" she said as her eyes slowly, and her breaths became shallower
"I love you too baby girl" he said as her breathing stopped and eyes closed
At the hospital
"Time of death 18:42"
It was the worst day of Adams life, the girl he loved was gone
The team was morning the loss of their friend
The friend who was their for all of them when they were at their lowest, the friend who was their for them threw their darkest times, the one who would drag them out of bed when they didn't want to get up, and they missed her dearly
Day of her funeral
"Today we are here not to mourn but to celebrate the life of Y/N Ruzek" the priest said as he stood in the front of the church
In front of the team and Y/Ns baby sister who is only 4 and Adam who had Maria (Y/N's lil sis) sitting on his lap with her head resting on his chest
After the funeral everyone went back to Adams place and stayed for a while had dinner and told stories on the great times they had with Y/N
After everyone left Adam went to put a sleepy Maria to bed
"Adam" Maria said sleepily
"Hey what's up" he said sitting on the floor next to her bed
"I miss sissy" she said with said eyes as Adams eyes watered
"I know, I do too" he whispered as her eyes slowly shut signaling she was asleep
Adam got up and kissed her head then went to his own bed crying as he missed his wife, his girl, his everything
