Charlie watched him skeptically, waiting for him to laugh and say he was joking and walk out. When he didn’t after a few moments she let out a big sigh. Her and Eddie never really ‘talked’ like this but she needed someone right now. She wiped at her tear stained cheeks...
Moments like these were truly rare between them. When they did happen they never spoke about it again. Sure, for events and cameras they were the perfect siblings, laughing at each other's jokes and talking intently about important topics. She shrugged, "It's more than just that one guy. I'm tired of being a princess. You have something to look forward to. You get to be king, while I am constantly pressured to marry into a good family and keep a perfect reputation. Daddy got to hide from his title most of his life and be normal and we're forced to flaunt it constantly. We never even got a chance to be normal. And plus everyone back home idolizes you because you're they're future King and what am I? I just wish I had a chance to be normal," she looked up at him, apologetic for rambling so much. Everything was boiling over and he was the only one around to clean up the mess. "I don't want to be a princess. I just want to be Charlie."
