When I’m a kukom I wanna live in a cottage, have a beautiful entrance way coming in with flowers growing in🌼, beautiful yard with plants and veggies growing all over. My bunnies bouncing around my yard🐇, and a little pond with ducks and lily’s floating. Baked pie sitting on the window sill🥧, yummy cake in the cake stand, and homemade treats all over. I will be knitting a cute green blanket on my rocking chair for my newest grand baby in the making, with my tea I made with my herbs I grew and my half eaten bannock sitting beside me. Listening to Exploration on my tiny radio, 🍄 My cottage will be smelling with sweet grass and my home made pie I left on the window sill. Quietly watching my Ghibli movies on the tv, my man will be cooking the eggs that we got from our chickens we raised. 🐓I will always have visitors because my house is built with comfort and love!❤️ -Alliyah

don’t let this world’s obsession with youth rob you of the big and small joys of adulthood. i spent most of my teenage years and early twenties struggling with my mental health. but there’s no timeline for happiness. for many people, getting older and growing up means having more chances to redefine their values, find their path and stability in life. some people go to college in their forties. some people marry in their sixties. some people recover better after their thirties. there’s no timeline for this kind of stuff. your childhood and teenage years won’t be the only chance you have at experiencing freedom and joy.
