Seeing his adorable smile made her heart melt. Once given some advice from Iroh, Korra now always tried to remain positive. Influencing others to see the silver lining was something she strived for. “There’s nothing wrong with being a little vengeful,” She said. “Just don’t let it take over you.” That was advice more him rather than the spirit. See, she could be wise sometimes.
Korra smiled. “I don’t think they’re gone… just blocked, like our powers. I’m not exactly the patient type but if I can stand the wait then I’m sure you can too. It’s nice to meet you, Yuugi. So, where were you headed?”
“That’s true,” he agreed easily, nodding. Her advice was very sound, and Yuugi was glad to have met someone so cheerful about giving that sort of advice out. It was nice.
The thought that the Puzzle’s spirit wasn’t gone as much as just blocked was a nice one. Much better than the thought that he might never feel the spirit in his soul again. He touched the pendant absentmindedly, before smiling again.
“Blocked, all right. I guess I can wait, then. But... powers? You have powers? What can you do?” he asked, already having heard about some of the abilities of this city’s residents, but unable to have witnessed any thus far. “And-- oh, I’m just looking for a game shop. It’ll be nice to find something to do while I’m here. Cards or puzzles or maybe even a little keychain game.”
