Feel like I need to post something on here so here some wip for outfits I’m making for Guan both in Xiaolin showdown and my au version of Chonickes too. Once I’m finished I’m post the rest of the outfits here ^^ and on my instagram ace_istheplace12

Imagine Guan helping braid Kimiko's hair for her while the kids are training at his temple so it stays out of the way during the more intense training regiments he has the kids run

She's surprised he's so good at it and he say that back when his own hair was even longer than hers, it was quite a lot of effort to maintain, but he would never have let himself be seen at less than his best, and he acknowledges that Kimiko's own fashions are to a similar effect, and he admires that, in a way

He even mentions that even though he stays clean shaven these days and doesn't even plan to grow a bear, his own hair type is actually quite similar to Kimiko's-- this black, straight, sleek, sheeny texture with an even thickness and relatively oily. So he's actually quite familiar with the upkeep it requires

I don't think you guys really believe me when I say I get way too emotional seeing people who like this AU—I really don't deserve you all.

I just found out recently that some people have been talking about the AU, and what surprises me most is that they've even been drawing their own OCs in it. And honestly, you guys have no idea how much that touched me. I never expected this little project to actually get people talking or for people to take it so seriously. I’m not going to lie, and you can call me sentimental if you want, but yesterday I started crying because of it—I think it’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever had.

A sweet friend of yours mentioned that you introduced the AU to her and other friends. I’m so glad you like the project and are sharing it with others. Your OC is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen, and I hope you like this little drawing I made for you. You have no idea how much it touched my heart—something you might think is just a simple gesture.

To everyone who shares, comments, or likes this little project—you really don’t know how much I value all of you. I’m not usually one for many words, and I don’t usually continue projects for very long, but I’m trying my best to upload more and more things. I like hearing your opinions and answering your questions, even if I’m not very quick. I still have many to answer, but believe me, I’m working on addressing any questions you have and making sure none are left out.

I also did these quick sketches; I found out that her OC is someone who’s really attached to Good Jack—very cute, in my opinion.

And here’s a quick little sketch of the OC belonging to the person who told me about this—a very kind and sweet person, by the way. And hey, her OC is part of the official gardening club in this AU (I don't know if she uses Tumblr, but don't worry—she's already seen this.)

I love seeing other people's OCs. This fandom is full of creative people.

Omi is right. This is Lao Mang Long soup.

The certainty with which Chase can tell this is genuine Lao Mang Lone soup just by the scent intrigues me.

Chase didn't seem to know what it would smell like back when he drank the switched out version.

He didn't suspect anything until he tasted distinctly nonmagical pea soup Omi swapped it out with.

And yet, now Chase has grown familiar enough with the real deal to identify it by its aroma alone now.

I wonder if it's because Chase has smelled it on Guan.

Drew this about a week ago ish, I do need to post more of my art on here.

Trying to draw more of my alt timeline au so starting with a new look for Guan!

He still has his hair and going with a scorpion look for his monster form so their end of his hair represent that. His chest is covered up (sadly/jk)

Idk why but I always imagin him to have these feelers on his face little reminder to people that he’s not exactly human (Chase don’t care though lol)

I try doing his dragon skull Mala again but was having trouble with it so simple Mala it’s is but I used a dark orange color since those represent stability something I feel like he needs.

And finally his eye 👀 going with the idea that those are roots growing out of his eye and that Hannibal is able to see out of it hence the colors but I also made it dull since when Hannibal is not useing it Guan can’t see through it since it’s a dead eye and if he’s able to remove those roots then his eye will be completely useless.

I’m thinking of drawing him and Jack first meeting soon hopefully but enjoy for now

Release The Beast: Release The Beast is April new chi power as a teacher in training, it is different from Guan's Repel The Beast move which is more protective while April's is more attractive. When activated she is able to tap into her Animal spirit to get a short but strong burst of energy and as shown it can give her some of her animal's features (hers is a viper).

April dose not like useing this power alot only as a last resort, it scares her.
