âIâm not a heavy coffee drinker so.. Sorry but Iâm not too sure.â
â too bad. you donât drink coffee at all? â he asked â i might be picky. i buy expensive coffee brands with a strong taste â
silas drank from the coffee cup, grimaced when the hot drink ran down his throat â is it just me or have the coffee in this town gotten worst? â he asked whiever was near by. usually he drank at home because it was better there, then he could do it as strong as he wanted it to.

âYeah, uh, demi-god, actually, but close enough.â He smiled at the other. âNear the Caucasus Mountains.â He raised an eyebrow to the other. âYou seem to be interrogating me. You donât believe me? I assure you you can ask my husband or any number of former Salvatore School students, they can attest to my truthfulness.â
â demi-god? i didnât believe they existed. i heard of them over two thousand years ago, only thought they were a myth. doesnât tell me much where that is located. could not anyone help you? â not that he cared for the answer, but he started to think it was strange if someone walked pass him, why did they leave him there? â no, i do not. how could i.. i have no clue who your husband is, or your friends. i do not care much who is with who, unless itâs about my children, but that is another thing â

âHurting people is not really my âthing.ââ He chuckled at the question about his life. âWell, for 5,000 years I was cursed to be either chained to a rock or hunted down by monsters and killed everyday only to be brought back to life for the cycle to repeat. I much prefer my life now.â
an eyebrow raised to the year ben mentioned â oh, 5,000 years? â silas thought he and qetsiyah were the first supernaturals in the world. how had he missed this? and all of these years. he hadnât cared much about others, mostly about his family, they were the ones who meant more to him â what are you, a god? â he joked, but at the same time was serious â cursed, immortal, then? sounds horrible. where exactly was this stone? â he asked. never heard of this story, it sounded as it was something the man had dreamed.

Kol didnât really care what the original doppelgänger had to say about him and who he was as he leaned against the closest object. âFangs, strength, speed. Any of it really.âÂ
he shrugged â typical vampires. they think their fangs, strength and speed is the solution to all problems, donât they? â deep inside had he not changed at all, he was still the same old silas he always been since he came back to the land of living the first time.
wilyfoxmikaelscnâ
âItâs not like it matters if Iâm caught.. Iâm an Original Vampire who the world knows to be a bad person.â Kol stated as if it was an obvious thing. âSee I rather just sink my fangs into them and get out some anger with my own two hands.â
silas rolled his eyes and chuckled. he had to say those two words? of course. he still didnât like vampires, even though he had lived among them in same town for many years now â mhm, the unstoppable vampires. they know? ah, i canât help to feel sad for the world â he said with sarcasm in his voice â is that how you solve it? the fangs â

Ben raised an eyebrow towards the other. âWhat kind of something dangerous? Iâve never particularly been one to go out and look for danger. It normally just found me.â Also he wasnât quite sure how well Jed would take it if he found out.
â someone getting hurt â he joked. nowadays he wasnât in the mood to hurt someone, unless they threatened him or tried to start a fight â danger find you? or found. you got my attention, how exactly did that happen? i had a chaotic life in the past, itâs a bit dull now â
xbourbonâ
âhey, i feel offended now. i am the fun brother.â rolling his eyes at the otherâs words, he shook his head. sure, he wasnât that chaotic and wild like he used to be but damon did made a promise to his wife to behave, or at least tone it down, after their children were born. âi am still game unless it involves hurting someone who might be close to my wife, silas.â
he listened to what was said, frowned. people had become less chaotic over the years. he only saw the children do reckless decisions, these who were parents, barely nothing. the witch sighed, a brief second later a smile was on his lips â you sound like an old man, which you are, but those old men with gray hair, wrinkles and grumpy. who said it would involve hurting someone? do you think iâm heartless? â
wilyfoxmikaelscnâ
âIf I were going to kill anybody it was be by my own hand or more fangs.â He started toward the man.
his eyebrows raised â ah yes, if you want to get into trouble and get caught, sure â he nodded â more fun to hire someone who can do the dirty work for you, then accidentally forget to pay them â

âDonât strain yourself to do something you donât wish to.â Amara teased. Gifts from her husband were nice, and always appreciated, but at the end of the day none of it mattered so much as the rest. After two thousand years they finally had a life and family together. âThere seem to be tutorials for everything. But if you rather burn it, I wonât stop you.â She paused, allowing herself a small shrug as her smile returned. âYou know I do enjoy watching you do magic. I donât see it nearly enough anymore.â
â i would not mind. as i said, we will see â he should be more romantic. now he could give her more than before. what he wanted most can never happen, take her around the world, see the beautiful nature with her by his side. see how much their home might have changed â i wish we were not stuck here. they should let us leave just for one week, or two. i would have loved to see our home. that is a gift i want to give you, but i know i never can â all these adventures, not going to happen â it is. back in the days you had to figure everything out by yourself or ask someone else if they might have known, now with just one click you can find it on less than ten seconds â he wasnât sure if he thought it was scary or a brilliant invention â well, it may be because iâd rather be alone when i do magic nowadays. nah, perhaps should i not do anything today. we could spend our time together in another way, either go out for dinner or if we go to the grocery store and see what we can find? i can make the dinner at home â just spend the time with her, alone with no one else around.Â

Being on the phone, Kol was just finishing up before hanging it up âJust get it done by tonight.â He muttered before the click.Â
silas drank from his take away coffee, frowned at the conversation. he swallowed the coffee before he said something â who are you gonna kill? â he threw out the words without any regret, or thinking through them.

âWouldnât asking defeat the point?â Amara questioned, tilting her head slightly. âI had been joking, love. Though I do love flowers.â Really anything of beauty. Having the opportunity to appreciate live and all that came with it continued to be such a shift from the centuries she had spent unable to access anything but death. She let out a small hum of understanding as she nodded. âAre you sure you want to burn somewhere you practice?â Amara asked. Of course, if he wanted to she wouldnât stop him and she would go with him, but she couldnât help but ask.
â we will see what happens in the nearest future â silas wanted to make his wife happy, he always wanted to. they could finally be together, only the two of them and to have a family of their own, he had to show more emotions, like he did back in greece â i can always build it up. canât be difficult to do, can it? might be tutorials somewhere. i just wanted to do anything fun with magic, it was a while â his eyebrows raised and he shook his head.

âUnless youâre lighting a birthday candle⌠danger isnât really in me.â She stated as a flash of her ex came flooding into her mind.
his eyes rolled. funny answer â why would i do that? a birthday candle, ha â
bonniexoxoxoââ
âwith you? no,â bonnie said with a roll of her eyes, narrowing her dark hues in silasâ direction. it was no secret that she couldnât stand the guy; she didnât like him in his first life, so she certainly wouldnât like him in this one. and it seemed that he was the same silas, playing games and causing destruction in his path. he had been the one that killed jeremy, professor shane⌠he had caused her life to be hell. âput out the fire, silas,â she requested, keeping her voice even.
â no? not an answer i wished to hear, or like â he commented, frowned. not a surprise to him. did not hurt him to hear the bennett witchâs words, they were not friends, never been â why should i? â he asked her, turned his hand and watched the fire dance around his fingers, it slowly wandered its way down to his palm â dangerous, but still beautiful â he had control of the spell to know well aware how to not burn off his own skin.

âNot telling you what to do. Just telling you how wrong it is.â She narrowed her eyes toward him. âYes you are a father and Iâm a mother. Not only a mother but a headmistress of a school full of kids that I take responsibility in protecting.â
â says the vampire. much in this world is wrong. doing what i do isnât wrong, i call it entertainment and no one will come to harm, how can it be wrong then? i have seen much of the world to know thereâs worse things â this world wasnât much different from ancient greece, a few things, of course, but some things stayed â mh, the important job. you never do anything wrong? â

âAnd to think other husbands bring home flowers.â Amara said, her words teasing. Of all the things her husband might say that would surprise her, this wasnât really one; Amara knew who she had married. She glanced down at her book, making a note of the page she was on before setting it aside and standing. âI know it wasnât, love, I was joking.â Amara promised, the corners of her lips twitching upwards. She paused to think about it, her lips pressing together. âSo long as nobody gets hurt⌠I suppose.â Amara conceded, knowing it wasnât likely sheâd have said no. She rarely did when Silas asked things of her. âWhere is it?â
silas was quiet at the mention of flowers and husbands, he bit on his lower lip, mumbled a â hmm â was probably right â do you want me to do bring home flowers? â he asked, even though he understood it should come as a surprise, to show how much you loved someone. it just wasnât anything he would do, not in this century â no one is gonna get hurt. itâs a little outside of nowhere, i have looked into up and no person owns it. i have been there a few times and worked on my magic â
