Humanization of Mikey & Raph (⁠つ⁠✧⁠ω⁠✧⁠)⁠つ

Don't ask why. I just like to occasionally imagine what these guys would look like as humans. I used a shot from a spaceship as a reference for the changes.

Raph's nose is a little snub because that's what I see.

Mikey is easier. He’s often depicted as a blond, and he’s—you know—a mix of a skater kid and a Hawaiian guy; just a ray of sunshine.

I also once saw a shuriken pendant on a chain and used it as a reference to ninjas.

Halloween TMNT Recs 🎃

I love some dark horror fics, so I decided to put together a list of some of my favourites for Halloween! Beware, these may range from some spooky fun, to really dark and gorey, and definitely some bad endings. You've been warned!

Fyi this list is Mikey and 2003 biased.

Clogged Drain by @kc-anathema (2003) — Part of a trilogy of stories with supernatural horror elements. Great writer for suspense and horror!

The Pumpkin Patch by sampsonknight (2003) — Oh man, after reading this story I now get jump scared every time I see screenshots of Mikey's Leo-o-Lantern! Don't hold out for a happy ending with this one.

The Third Deadly Sin by @hummerhouse (2003) — This is a fun one and probably the lightest of the bunch. The boys go to collect an antique for April, but for once it's not Mikey touching things that he shouldn't!

In Nightmares by @dysfunctional-doodle (2003) — The 2012 fungus, but more intense and with the 2003 turtles. Lots of fungus-y body horror!

Thirteen Days of Halloween by @zelgadis55 (No Specific Iteration) — A bunch of great short horror stories based on various themes.

A Darker Light by @brightlotusmoon (2003) — Always love a story about Mikey getting psychically attacked from something paranormal!

Something Wicked by Efiwyvan/AJ3 (Archie) — This one's definitely on the dark and gorey side, but it's a classic with a really interesting concept.

Summary:

I also like to think that Nogitsune was originally a kitsune living in Japan. But something went wrong, and he became a demon and forgot his human life.

Of course, his favorite pastimes during his lifetime were playing Go checkers, composing scary legends to keep children awake at night, and terrorizing the village 💅
