EAT HIM ALIVE
When my time is up, have I done enough? Will they tell my story?
Ugh, my Peggy feels... she actually did get to see Steve again, and was recognized in her own right (weāre explicitly told Hydra didnāt DARE come out of hiding while she was in charge), but IMHO one of the saddest lines in the MCU is hers - āIām afraid we rather mucked it upā.Ā Sheās reaching the end of her life and doubting whether she actually managed to preserve both her legacy and Steveās.Ā And, much as we know she did everything humanly possible, we find out later she wasnāt entirely wrong.Ā
āand then he said, his temperament was his strongest assetā
Just had a plot bunny glom on like an octopus, please let me know if you use it... what if *Natasha* was the one with a hidden wife and kiddos, rather than Clint?
I need to talk about the fact that Buckyās still got his right hand 100% free and could be punching Spider Man into next Tuesday already. But he still stood frozen, looking shocked as all fucks and lemme tell you right now that that was not because someoneās managed to block his metal fist because lbr the metal arm was never unstoppable before, especially when super-enhanced/-equipped people are involved ā so basically he doesnāt take that punch cus heās actually just now able to hear the other guyās voice and it clicks that this is just a fucking k i d
Iād add a side of āis he actually fangirling The Arm?!?!
Just bought my Cap:Civil War tickets.Ā Have approximately 12 days to gird my mental loins for this.

Me when Iām getting over being sick
True confessions:
Iām a messy person. I think a lot of peopleāmost people, probablyāthink Iām a āneat freak.ā Iām not. The reason most people think Iām a neat freak is that almost everyone who writes about or gives advice about or has any kind of authority whatsoever about cleaning and organization is naturally neat and tidy. Which is great, because ānaturally neat and tidyā is a great thing to aspire to!
However, people who are naturally neat legitimately donāt understand how or why people are messy. They can see the result, sure, and give good advice on how to fix it, but they donāt understand the mindset or reality of those of us who arenāt naturally neat. Thereās always this sort of undertone of, āHave you ever tried not being messy?ā And thatās not super helpful, because, yeah. Weāve tried it. For them, neat is something they just are. For us, being neat is something weāre always working at. And those are two very different realities.
Iām a (mostly) reformed messy person. But I will never pretend that my house looks like a magazine spread or that occasionally, my stuff doesnāt get out of control. I have friends who say, āOh, man, Iād better clean up before you come over!ā which is nonsense, because A) I donāt give half a shit if your house is clean, Iām coming to visit you, not your baseboards; and B) there are absolutely times when I would be embarrassed to have people in my home. I have a couple of jobs, a couple of dogs, a mental illness or two, and a life. My house often reflects that. To be honest, I just finished writing the UfYH book, which was incredibly time-consuming (but totally worth it) and have spent almost every free moment since trying to reset my house back to normal, because it devolved into some kind of post-apocalyptic hellscape in the meantime.
So I get it. I get what it is to be messy. To be overwhelmed. To be embarrassed. And I think I can help, because Iāve been there. I go back there from time to time. And thatās why Iāll never be OK with people negatively judging themselves or others about their mess. Because I know that who we are as people is more than what our homes look like. But I know that our homes can get better if we want them to, because Iāve done it and I continue to do it, every day. And I think I can help you do it, too.
This is all so true.Ā My mother is one of those naturally tidy types, and it led to a lot of frustration on both sides when I was a kid (weāve since come to a better understanding, thankfully).Ā To her it seemed as though I was being deliberately difficult, and to me it seemed as though the efforts I was making were never good enough for her.Ā Thereās still a certain level of mental/emotional tension around housework for me as a result, but I decided to start working past it after I moved out - I wanted a neat, safe environment for myself and my pets - but yes there are still times things get away from me.Ā The important thing is, as the old saying goes, āfall six times, stand up sevenā.
... what the kind of... REY IS *THE* CENTRAL CHARACTER in SW:TFA, and probably for the rest of the trilogy.Ā It is HER story.Ā Why wouldnāt we want merchandise of her over Crylo Ren?
Marvel Headcanon
Peggy brought a fair number of women into the newly formed SHIELD, but still needed a break from the men at times.Ā To this day, there is effectively an unofficial club among the women of SHIELD and pairs or groups will get together regularly to āgo to Carterāsā.Ā None of the men have figured out the code yet, and many a male analyst has wasted a slow hour or twenty at work trying to locate such a bar or pub.
Random ask. If you could make a movie about Bucky's life what would you call it?
āDamnit, Steve!ā
