Maybe I'm being overly dramatic and reactive at the moment, but outside of Andor, I'm giving up giving a shit about Star Wars shows and movies for now. Disney has made it increasingly clear what parts of the fandom they care about, and it's not me. It's sad, but it is, what it is. I'm over giving a fuck, getting invested, and then having the stuff I care about tossed out the window without care. They can fuck off.

I AM LIVING FOR ALL THESE REY/ROSE MOMENTS. “I wasn’t going to allow my friends to suffer while I can do something about it either.” and that absolutely badass pose with Rose leaning against Rey’s shoulder AND THIS IS THE CONTENT I AM HERE FOR. One of the things that I’m eager for with the ST is the expanding sense of these characters developing various relationships with each other, instead of pigeon holing them into just one or two dynamics. This is why Spark of the Resistance was so good, putting Rey and Rose and Poe together was an absolute JOY, getting to see Rey and Rose being friends here is EVEN MORE JOY, little moments like the Adventures comics having Poe and Rose impress the hell out of each other, etc. It’s felt missing in a lot of the sequels materials for me, to have this group of people actual feel like they know each other, that they spend time together, that they’re friends. I mean, do I want Rey and Rose to smooch like kind of a lot? BOY DO I. Am I sitting here with heart-eyes because they’re both so cool? BOY AM I. But also I appreciate that we’re finally getting moments of the cast feeling like an actual team and getting some pretty great moments while we’re at it. YES LET WOMEN BE FRIENDS AND THINK EACH OTHER ARE AWESOME AND HELP EACH OTHER OUT. AND ALSO MAYBE GIVE ME ALL THE REY/ROSE, I NEED IT TO LIIIIIIVE.
