Hello everyone! We’re back on the blog and ready to give you the best nerd news, toys and art we can find.
Starting off with preorders! The heavy video game season is coming and with games like Star Wars Battlefront, Fallout 4 and the newest installment of Call Of Duty fast approaching, I thought it would be good to give you all the preorder information we could find.
First of, Star Wars Battlefront. The game releases November 17th this year and there are some AMAZING preorder options out there. The best is this deal from Walmart that includes the game and a Han Solo Mini Fridge (WHAAAAAT). The price is really reasonable at $130 for what you get. If you want to go BIG, there is a special edition PS4 that comes with a PS4 skinned with Darth Vader and a special Darth Vader themed controller. Other than those deals, it’s the basic preorder options. Standard game for $60 and the Deluxe Edition for $70.
Fallout 4 releases on November 10th and briefly had a really awesome preorder that came with a Pip Boy but sold out quickly. If you were lucky enough to get one, we are jealous. Other tan that, preorder is again, standard.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege comes out on October 13th and if you are in to team playing, you’ll want to get this one. We haven't seen any over-exciting preorders as of now. There is the standard for $60, and the Gold Edition for $90 which includes the season pass and guaranteed access to the closed beta.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 comes out on November 6th and had a short run of preorders which included a Juggernog mini fridge. Again, if you managed to get one we are jealous. Other than that, there are a few options for preorders. You have the standard for $60, the Hardened Edition which comes with The Giant Bonus Map which is a remake of Der Riese and some concept cards for $80. And lastly there is the Digital Deluxe Edition for $100 which I think is the best value. It comes with the Hardened Edition extras (except the concept cards) but throws n the Season Pass as well. And if you think about it, the game is $60 and the season pass is $50, so you’re saving yourself $10 in the long run.
There is also Fallout: Anthology coming out which as of right now is strictly PC. It is $50 and includes Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas and comes in this sweet Mini Nuke. That releases September 29th.
If you are a sports person, FIFA 16 comes out September 22nd and NBA 2K16 releases September 29th. And if you haven’t gotten Madden 16 yet, it is GREAT. Many improvements to the mechanics.
