âMaybe, but I think he acts so much like you, we all just kind of see you
in him. I mean, I donât exactly look like either of my parents, but people
always say I look like my mom. I donât see it, but I definitely know we
share some facial expressions.â She shrugged, giving the older woman
a warm, comforting smile. âNah, I could never be a Blake. Iâve always
thought that if people called me pretty it was because I have that whole
blonde hair, blue eyes thing going.â She shrugged, expression changing
for just a moment before forcing herself to start smiling again. âAnyway,
yeah, you guys are all just pretty remarkable.â
She smiled slightly, letting the girlâs comment slide this time but she
knew she wouldnât let Clarke get away with calling Bellamy pretty. It
was just one of those things sheâd hold over her head for saying for
awhile. â Well anyone who knew your dad would know you definitely
look more like him than your mother. â She said, hands folding in her
lap with a soft smile. â Youâre more like him than you probably notice. â
She vaguely knew Jake, they went to school together and would see
each other at parties, but they only really talked every once in awhile.
But the girl definitely shared more features with her father than her
mother, though the girls do look very similar standing next to each other.
