BREAKING: Legendary artist Prince has died at 57

Prince, a prolific rock star known for his mysterious brand of funk rock, died Thursday morning at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota, TMZ and the AP have confirmed. The sheriff’s office responded to emergency calls at 9:43 a.m., and confirmed someone has died on the grounds. The singer was rushed to the hospital earlier this month with severe illness.

Update: Prince’s autopsy has been completed. Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson held a press conference to discuss aspects of the results.

“There were no obvious signs of trauma on the body,” Olson said of the star. “Results from this autopsy may take weeks.”

While, we may not have full details for weeks, Olson was able to rule out one cause of death.
