sunsgunsâ:
slowly, quietly, sun creeps up behind the poor, unsuspecting soul ⊠or, perhaps heâs aware and selectively choosing to ignore. sun doesnât know and he doesnât really care, either. all that matters is his end goal. abnormally light on his feet and taking quiet steps, he edges closer ⊠and closer ⊠until heâs knelt down right behind neptune. with a grin, sun sweeps forward and buckles the backs of neptuneâs knees with his forearm, using his other to catch the falling boy behind his torso before standing, lifting his friend into the air, bridal - style.
â one nerd: successfully captured! â he grins, shoulders back, quite proud of himself. he angles his head down slightly, trying to get a glimpse of neptuneâs face. â sooo ⊠whatâs up, nep? â catch blue eyes sparkling in anticipation to hisâŠÂ â joke â.Â
sorry, neptune! @xvasiliasâ
he definitely didnât scream. no, it was... the wind. for sure. one-hundred percent the wind and an ill-timed bus that was in need of a tune up breaking, in the distance. even if he had screamed, it would have been for an entirely legitimate reason! if anyone asked. it wasnât often you were minding your own business, trying to figure out the quickest bus route to the new bookstore in town when -- BAM! something knocked your knees out and you felt like you were falling, falling...Â
except he hadnât, because it was just a blond idiot scooping him up like some favourite childhood toy. and neptune yelped (NOT screamed). it was a justified reaction, one borne of surprise and not a lack of manliness or coolness. he could feel his cheeks reddening at the realization of what had happened, the tips of his ears bristling with heat as well when he fully clocked in to the fact that sun was now holding him. in public. like some blushing bride--! he grimaced, looking unimpressed up at his friend while his neck warmed in passive realization of how close they were.
âwhatâs up?â he repeated, unable to hide the bite in his voice. he frowned heavily, though he knew sun would understand he could never truly be angry with him. it was all in feigned annoyance, after all. âI dunno, dude. the sky? my heart rate? ..climate change?â
