‘Cause like…pro-life is not an accurate term. Which, to be fair, could also be said for pro-choice to a certain extent…like obviously pro-lifers aren’t against all choices. But it’s not as emotive. Pro-life implies that the opposite is like…you’re against life? What could be more important than life you monster? You know? And from what I’ve seen pro-lifers tend to be extremely fond of emotive language, often even to a manipulative degree. Like, calling abortion murder and insisting that foetuses are babies even from the early developmental stages? Those aren’t logical arguments, they’re emotionally manipulative.

So they’re often not really all about the “life” stuff. As for what their motivation actually is, that does confuse me too. But it makes me remember once when I came across someone who was really confused as to why I’m pro-choice and anti-death penalty. Because they thought that I was defending the life of a guilty person and condemning an innocent? Which is such a skewed way to see that, but idk guilt seems to be a really common theme with them? Like all that “you had sex, pregnancy is the consequence” stuff? Which could explain some of death penalty stuff and maybe war (although you know they’d have to also have skewed ideas about those things to think everyone who gets killed is “guilty” among other things), but anti-vaxxers? Idk people really hate us autistics I guess.

Sorry this is a bit tangential it just made me think.
