Shoutout to the bisexuals and pansexuals, to the genderqueer and trans folk who will be completely erased from the media’s coverage of the marriage equality decision in the United States, even if it means that you will be able to marry your partner when you couldn’t before. You don’t deserve to be erased from something you want to celebrate.

Shoutout to the folks for whom this decision does basically nothing. Shoutout to the trans women of color who experience incredibly high rates of violence and who will probably face the brunt of the backlash to the decision from straight people. We will not ignore you. We will not silence you. We will not forget you.

The movement for equality is FAR from over. Celebrate if you want to celebrate, but listen to the voices of those who are not celebrating.

Okey but imagine:

• Baby raptors eating Owen’s clickers when he’s first training them and making weird sounds with their bellies

• Baby raptors having to wear little collars with bells so the workers at the paddock don’t step on them

• Baby raptors always running to Barry’s side when Owen is mad at them because they know Barry is a softie

• Baby raptors mastering the “puppy eyes” look to get treats

• Baby raptors being taken to the vet in puppy lashes and trying to nip at people’s heels

• Baby raptors chewing Owen and Barry’s shoes

• Baby raptors collecting shiny things (keys, lost earrings, cash) and keeping them in a neat pile and showing it to Owen super proud of themselves

• Baby raptors melting in a pile of purring goo when Barry scratches them under the chin

• Baby raptors clinging to Owen’s pants with their tiny claws and whining when he has to go back to the bungalow at night
