Ahh, today was pretty chaotic. but aside from all the craziness i had to deal with. i had a surreal moment when a Gentlemen I never met before came into my job. So i greeting this customer like i do all customers. I asked if this is his first time at the shop, he replies yes, so i ask for all the proper identification cards. i quickly realize that the name on the I.d doesnt match the name on the medical card. so i tell him unfortunately i am unable to help due to the names not matching.But as i was trying to help him i got swarmed with customers. to the point where i had a line out the door. so i manged to get a second (after a good 40 min of waiting) he replies with oh yes i am here on behalf of my daughter, she suffers from seizures. and thc-a helps best for her condition.  i tell him ohh okay so i just need you to fill out a designation form with your daughter and have her come in and sign.  and i go on to explain what we carry for tinctures .. he stops and looks at me and says well thats the thing. shes only 5.. and my heart and soul just felt good it was good to know that i did all i could to make sure that girl got her medicine.

Future of cannabis entertainment

so I've been thinking lately about branching out and opening up an establishment focused on cannabis entertainment.MY first idea was to open up a lounge. nice quite rustic type vibes. and the area is perfect for that. whether it's in the nicest parts of town or if I want to appeal to the more economical spending customer. ahh.. my thought is... it's been done. so I quickly threw that on the back burner, I say back burner because, well just cause it has been done before doesn't mean it wouldn't do well. Honestly my second idea I really like. I was thinking one night while I was at the casino, spending my money and inhaling nicotine from the person next to me. I became bored I wanted to smoke, sit back, and relax. I started thinking about how the casino releases Co2 into the air to filter out smoke. What if that same concept was used for a cannabis-themed movie theater? Where you can purchase snacks baked goods and even flowers and enjoy your favorite movie. I mean to me it's Golden. I think that would attract a lot of visitors if properly done. as long as the building is owned and not rented you are allowed to do as you please . what do yall think?

Would you Rather?

Okay,so as the elections have passed, a few new states have opted into recreational sales of marijuana. Now I've been in the medical field for a little over a year( i know it's not long). And before joining the shop I was a customer. I have become accustomed to spending no more than $40 for an eighth. With recreational sales approaching the taxes have been said to be marked up between 10- 20%. Making recreational marijuana prices to skyrocket. Again this is my personal experience. I decided to see what the hype is about. I went to buy an Eighth, it came out to be $62.13 after taxes. That made me confused a little. I didn't understand how a business can thrive on prices like that. But then comes the technicalities. People who have state-issued medical cards cannot possess a firearm. And in my state, it's an open carry. People will rather spend the extra money on the weed if it means they can keep their guns. Personally, I will stick to my medical card. What about you guys??

blunt wraps? or papers?

Okayyyy ! so today we are here to talk a little about your choice of wraps. i hear alot of people who have preferences . from traditional backwoods, to swisher, and the ol so famous dutch masters to new waves busting out the east, Fronto. personally i cannot smoke tobacco products. i feel as if they take away from the flavor of weed and leave a nasty taste in your mouth. recently i tried Fronto and the way i did it was breaking a strip of Fronto and laying it in my hemp paper creating a spliff. that wasn't too bad. it added a little kick to my weed but at the end of the day i prefer OCB or Elements . clean ash. no bleach . just a perfect match for good weed. i know everyone has different tastes and views i just wanna see what you guy think?!

Sativa? or Indica?

sooooo many of us smokers have preferences. and as the marijuana industry shifts that toward more recreational use . I have a question for you guy. when time comes , and your state opens up for you to shop, what are you looking for? what do you prefer? that good morning pick me up that sativa holds ? or do you start your day off with your coffee and a joint of something calming? Me personally. my daily routine is a nice Indica leaning hybrid something 60/40 not too tiring but not too overwhelming. i choose not to smoke Sativa because i found that sativa strains give me anxiety so i stray away. Everyone is different so the question of the day is what do you prefer? Sativa or Indica?

Reasons

Now a days weed has become normalized and less and less people are considering it a DRUG, which I find to be great. working in the field that i do i come across a lot of people who have many different reasons for using medical marijuana. well last night i decided to really think about why i’m doing what im doing. and as much as i enjoy consuming medical marijuana for my own sicknesses . I find that the most enjoyable part of this experience is helping people. i find so much joy in recommending a product or certain strain for customers who are looking for relief and actually having that same person come back and say it has changed their life. i got customers who suffer from epilepsy to MS to severe Headaches ,and its always a pleasure to help. ive always said marijuana brings people together . You look past color of skin or religious beliefs or even political beliefs . at the end of the day we are all in this together and all we will have is each other . so i do this out of the love for people and the well being of people .

Story Time !

So last night i decided to try some new edibles. Now mind you im a heavy smoker my tolerance is above average. just want to put that out there haha.

so i bought these dark chocolate edibles and it read 890MG of thc . but not just regular THC .. oh noo.. this was RSO  the strongest form of the medicine that you can get. ANYWAY. i started off eating one .. 30 min i didnt really feel anything so i decided to eat 2 more . .waited another 30 mins and was feeling really good . so i decided ill take another one. well i didnt realize the 890 MG was divided into only 4 pieces. so once i realized i eate the entire pack of 890 mg chocolates i instantly started feeling it . so i said ok ill put on a movie and enjoy this . i was calm for about an hour . then i got the munchies.. so i stood up and walked in the kitchen . i was instantly dizzy so i sat back down . another 10 mins go by and i realize ive been drooling on my shirt for the past hour . i fell asleep and woke up to a bowl of cereal on my night stand . i guess i decided to pour the whole box of fruity pebbles in a pot and use a stirring spoon to eat hahaha.. stoner problems
