trying to prove a point to the boys at school
reblog this if you believe trans men are real men like this if you dont
Me reblogging
I think the funniest thing is when people think being trans is a mental illness or a mentality or not biological when the scientific community backs it up.
I don’t understand.
Sincerely, a Psych/Bio major
P. S., Don’t read the notes
Psychologists and doctors who have worked with transgender patients have noticed a pattern of abuse and/or something missing in the person’s childhood that lead to them thinking that they are not who they really are, being confused, ashamed of their bodies, or crossdressing without care. This type of thing happened to me when I was 7 years old. I thought I was a boy and wore boy clothes, there was very little feminine things in the home and my parents weren’t around (at the time) and I thought otherwise. Later on in life I started to do what I was supposed to do, and was aware of myself because of my feminine mom finally being around.
Being or thinking “transgender” is developed, and it isn’t something positive. You can’t be born in the wrong body or be born trans; you are born either male or female. And once some people transition, it is very likely that they commit suicide. So yes, it is a mentality, it is a phase depending on age, it’s something that is a big concern and for every person who has this issue, they need help; not transition.
Transgender people want others to accept them for who they are, but they cannot even accept themselves.
Friend. Are you really going to tell me what psychologists and doctors say? Good on you for finding that femininity in your life but why are you going out of your way to reply to my post especially when I had previously mentioned I am a psych and bio major. These are things i study and you definitely have the wrong information.
Look, I’m not here to argue, but i do want to say that you might want to stop reblogging other peoples posts who arent mentioning you just to interject your statements.
Save your time for something you want to do in your day.
Hope you have a good night
instead of avoiding conversation and blocking someone like a coward how about you express on why you think trans isn’t a mental illness or phase, because it is (literally coming from a former lgbtqa+ supporter). also your blog and reblogs really defy to me how you are a “psych and bio major” which is pretty ironic. just because you study these things doesn’t mean you are right all of the time. to add, and i am genuinely curious, how is this girl wrong? in fact, i took psychology and the things they said were right (in the conservative perspective) but even without that, it is still fact. express please on how what they said was the “wrong information” when me, a former psychology student, has studied and researched before (back in the 90s of course). but it honestly gets on my nerves when i see shit like this
i’m not looking to argue either, but, how is simply reblogging posts and saying your honest opinion “interjecting”? simply because someone else doesn’t have the opinion or mindset you have/agree with you? that’s pretty pathetic lmao. they don’t even have to mention you in order for you to “interject” your statements. plus, i guess sometimes your little queer buddies do the same thing to pro-trump posts? look i’m not even pro-trump or conservative but i see more negativity from lgbtqa+ posts.
